Shawn's P.O.V

I was on tour again, I couldn't wait to see Y/N though! I had a layover in an airport a few hours from her hometown and my management said I could leave to go see her and meet them at our next stop.

I was so excited to finally see my Y/N again. Walking to my gate I went to sit down, signing a few things for fans here and there. Finally they called my flight number and I got up to wait to board.

"Have a great flight Mr. Mendes!" the lady at the desk said.

I smiled at her and walked down the tunnel. Getting on to the plane I found my seat and sat down. Plugging my headphones into my phone I sighed and leaned my head against the window.

Before we took off I texted Y/N's mom telling her I was on my way. Me and her had set up a plan where I would be waiting in Y/N's room for her. Her sister would be taking her out for the afternoon and they were going to get their hair done.

The plane started rolling backwards and towards the tarmac. Closing my eyes I took a deep breath and leaned farther back in my seat.

An hour and a half later the plane was starting it's decent and I was getting more excited the longer we had to wait in the seats. The plane landed and now we had to wait until they could get the door connected to the tunnel.

"Thank-you for flying with WestJet if this is home, we would like the be the first to say welcome home, if this is just a stop we hope you've enjoyed travelling with us and hope to see you again" the flight attendant said.

Finally the door opened and everyone got up. Luckily I was in the first row, grabbing my carry on I got up and got off the plane. Walking down the airport hallways I finally found Y/N's mom.

Walking over to her she engulfed me in a hug.

"Shawn! I haven't seen you in forever, how are you?" she smiled pulling back.

"I've been great! I've missed Y/N though" I smiled at the thought of seeing her soon.

"Well lets get you to see her then"

Following her mom out to the vehicle, we got in and she drove us home. Once we made it inside the house I took my bag and went upstairs to wait in Y/N's room.

"Shawn, her sister just texted they are two minutes away" Y/N's mom called to me.

"okay thanks!"

I couldn't stop smiling I was so super excited. Lying on the bed I looked up at the ceiling and smiled at the poster of me she had on her ceiling. Before she met me she was a huge fan of mine.

I looked over at the door when I heard it open, I watched as her hands flew up to her mouth and she started crying. Getting off the bed I smiled and pulled her into me.

"please don't cry Y/N!" I said kissing her head.

"There happy tears!" she said.

"okay good! I missed you babe"

"I missed you to!"

"I only have until tomorrow that I get to be here but it's better than nothing"

"exactly!"

Pulling me to her bed she pulled out her laptop and crawled under the sheets with me. We turned on netflix and picked a movie to watch.
