Lying in my bed again I had lied to my mom and told her I didn't feel well so she let me stay home today.

Hearing her shut the front door as she left for work I pulled out my phone and had a text from Shawn.

I'll be by to pick you up in around 10!

Sorry baby not coming to school today :(

Putting my phone back on my nightstand I sighed and rolled back over hoping to fall asleep again.

Hearing a small knock on my bedroom door I sat up and looked. Seeing Shawn I smiled.

"babe what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I couldn't let you not feel well by yourself now could I!" he came over to me and pulled me into a hug.

"I guess not, but can I tell you something?" I asked.

"of course!"

"i'm actually feeling fine. I didn't want to go to school because of Theresa and Lexi"

"what! did they do something to you?"

"no, it's not that they do anything it what they say, they degrade me and make me feel like i'm nothing"

"Y/N you know you don't have to let them walk all over you?" Shawn asked.

"yeah I know but it's hard to fight back. I feel like I can't"

"you can and i'll help you, I promise i'll be there for you" he kissed my temple.

"okay, thanks baby"

The rest of the day was spent trying to come up with a plan on how to get Theresa and Lexi to stop picking on me.
