Today was the day me and Shawn were finally getting married. I was so excited but also very nervous, we had both agreed that it could be broadcasted.
Standing in the room that was set up for me to get ready in I was sitting on the couch in my robe. Every minute that passed was just one minute more closer to marrying the love of my life, but also a minute closer to it being broadcast all over the world.
"Y/N!" my mom and sister came into the room.
"Hey guys!" I smiled getting up to hug them.
"are you excited?" my sister asked.
"well right now i'm mostly nervous" I laughed a little.
"I bet, but once you see Shawn all your nerves will go away!" my mom came over to me tucking some hair behind my ear.
"thanks mom" I smiled as Aaliyah and Karen walked in.
"Y/N!" Aaliyah ran over and hugged me.
"Hey Liyah, hey Karen" I smiled.
"we better get you ready hun!" Karen went over to turn on the curling iron.
Sitting down in the chair that was set out in front of the mirror I waited for a few minutes. Shawn had gotten me a makeup and hair artist for today.
Soon they had come in and were starting to get me all ready for this afternoon.

Getting out of the chair after about a half hour I went into the bathroom to change into my dress. Coming back out I twirled a little and watched as everyone smiled at me.
"Y/N, you look stunning babe!" my mom smiled.
I could see the tears forming in my mom and Karen's eyes.
"Please don't cry you guys, you'll make me cry and then I'll wreck my makeup" I smiled.
"I know i'm sorry" my mom wiped her eyes.
Going to give them both a hug my dad walked in.
"ready to go bug?" he asked.
Taking a deep breath I smiled.
"ready as i'll ever be!"
"okay let's get going then" he smiled grabbing my hand.
Walking out of the room I took a shaky breath as we arrived at the door to head into the church. Hearing me and Shawn's song start playing (insert song here) the doors opened.
My dad grabbed my hand again and gave it a right squeeze linking our arms we started walking down the isle. Looking up I saw some of the camera's and started to get nervous again.
"hey, just focus on Shawn!" my dad whispered to me.
Breathing again I looked up and saw Shawn at the end. The light at the end of my tunnel. My dad finally handed me off to Shawn and he took my hands in his.
"ready for this?" he asked.
"completely!"

Walking out of the church Shawn and me were finally married. I was finally Mrs. Mendes.
"Ready for our new adventure?" he smiled kissing me on the steps.
"i'm so ready!" I smiled kissing him back.
"and plus we can watch this day over and over again" he laughed.
"that's true!"
Walking down the steps and into the car waiting for us we were off to take our wedding photos.
