Walking back into me and Shawn's house I had just picked up our kids from school.

They were all upstairs doing homework while I was making dinner. Shawn was away on tour and he wasn't suppose to be home for another few weeks.

Lacey usually cried every night and came to sleep with me. She missed her dad which was understandable, he had been gone for almost six months.

Finishing up dinner I went and turned on the evening news. Calling the kids down to eat we all sat at the table. After dishing up I was listening to the news and I saw plane wreckage.

I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. Going into my calendar on my phone I looked at last nights notes and Shawn was set to fly out to Sacramento. Getting up I grabbed the remote and turned it up.

"mom what's going on?" Lacey whined.

"shh" I turned it up a little more.

Flight bowing 132 was found a few hundred miles from Sacramento California. Pop sensation Shawn Mendes was aboard, no confirmed news on him yet, well have more on this story as it unfolds.

My heart started beating faster and faster. Picking up my phone I called Shawn's phone but there was no answer. My next bet was to call Andrew and hope for the best. Hearing it ring a few times he finally picked up.

"Andrew!"

"Y/N, I just booked you and the kids a flight out here. I'll meet you at the airport and tell you everything"

"okay, thanks"

Hanging up I got all the kids and we left the house. Getting into the vehicle I started driving towards the airport. Making it to the airport in record time, mostly due to my speeding I parked and we went inside. Getting through security we made it to our gate with a few minutes to spare.

I pulled up the boarding passes on my phone and the flight desk lady scanned them. Me and the kids went into plane and took our seats. I was hoping this flight would go by fast because I didn't know how much longer I could wait not knowing what was happening to Shawn.

Shawn's P.O.V

When the plane had crashed everyone was screaming and I just sat there in shock. I was somehow untouched by all of this and only escaped with a scratch. Once the rescue crews had gotten everyone off the aircraft they had given up hotel rooms to clean up in and wait for our families in. I was just sitting on the bed in my room when Andrew called telling me my family was on the way.

Getting off the bed I collapsed to my knees and just started crying. I guess the shock had worn off, lying on the floor eventually I just couldn't cry anymore and just lied there and waited. Just lying on my stomach in the quiet lonely hotel room I could hear the door open.

Looking up slightly I saw Y/N come in. I started crying again and she ran to me and got on her knees. Holding me the best she could as I sobbed on the floor I just felt her fingers run through my hair.

"I thought I lost you babes" I heard her cry.

Hearing the door open again I saw Lacey, Robert, and Lia come in. Everyone ended up in a dog pile hug on the floor. I was happy to have my family by my side because somehow I didn't think i'd be able to forgive myself if I had left them.

My sister is making me go work out tomorrow and i'm trying so hard not to laugh because if you knew me you would know that I do not work out what's so ever 😂
