Little Moments

Walking into me and Shawn's bedroom I smiled and crawled into the bed next to him.

"Just got home?" he asked.

"yeah" I smiled and laid my head on his chest.

"I have something for you!" Shawn smiled.

"yeah?" I asked.

"yeah!"

Getting off his chest he leaned over and opened his night stand drawer. He pulled out a little envelope and opened it.

"I'll read it for you!" he smirked.

"okay" I let the smile take over my face.

Dear Y/N,

These last few months I have spent with you have been the best of my life. I can't wait to spend many more with you, your the love of my life and right in this moment I couldn't picture my life without you.

Our love so far has been filled with little moments. Ones to remember and ones to forget, I can't wait until we can share our love with the world. I want to show you off, I want the world to know that your mine.

Y/N my first little moment I want to share with you is that time we went to the fair. I hope you remember, you were scared to go on that coaster and I had to hold your hand.

Y/N that time you helped me when I was sick or that time I took you to get a puppy but then we had to give it to your parents because I was allergic. I could honestly go on and on about all the little moments we have shared together.

I think if I counted them it would be over 200. A lot of shared time of you ask me. I couldn't ask for anyone better to be my partner in crime and I want to thank-you for sticking with me through thick and thin.

So with the end of this note I have something else for you and I hope you love it.

Looking over at Shawn I had a few tears in my eyes. I couldn't stop smiling though.

"Shawn!"

"what!" he looked at me.

"babe I didn't mean to make you cry!"

"don't worry they are happy tears" I smiled and kissed him.

"okay good" he said as we pulled apart.

"so this is the other thing I wanted to give to you" Shawn handed me a small box.

Playing with it in my hands I opened it and saw a little ring. Taking it out of the box I put it on my ring finger.

"Shawn?" I whispered.

"Don't worry baby, it's not an engagement but it's a promise ring, that i'm making a promise to be by your side no matter what, to love you no matter what" he smiled. "I want you to know that I'll love you forever and ever and you are the love of my life"

"Shawn, I love it"

Pulling him into a hug I snuggled my head into his chest and sighed.

"I love you much Y/N please never forget it" he kissed my head.

"I love you so so so much"
