Walking through the park by my apartment once again I was by myself. Lately it seemed I was always on my own. Well ever since me and Y/N broke up to be exact.

Sometimes I would see her and her new boyfriend and she looked happier with him. It hurt of course because I thought I made her happy when we were together.

All my friends and family keep telling me to move on and find someone new. But I don't think I can, maybe finding someone new would help forget Y/N.

Did I really want to forget her though?

It was my fault we were broken up in the first place I didn't think it was fair to her to be in a relationship like this.

Looking up I saw Y/N and her boyfriend. She saw me before I could duck and head the other way.

"Shawn!" she called out.

"oh hey Y/N"

She came over to me and pulled me into a hug. She still smelt the same god I missed her.

"Hey so this is (y/bf/n) she introduced her boyfriend"

"Hey nice to meet you, i'm Shawn" I held out my hand.

He shook it firmly and I smiled.

"How have you been?" Y/N asked me. "Have you found someone new?"

"i've been better, and not yet actually" I gave her a small smile.

"oh i'm sorry Shawn i'm sure you'll find someone soon" she hugged me again.

Finally she left and I was alone again.

I don't think I can love anyone else because I had someone like Y/N. I thought me and her would last forever and I guess I was wrong.
