Father's day

Y/N's P.O.V

"Xavier!" I smiled walking into his room.

"Momma?" he rubbed his eyes.

"yeah baby, are you ready to surprise your dad?" I sat down on the bed next to him.

"yeah!" he shouted.

"shhh it's a surprise we have to be quiet so we don't wake him up!" I giggled.

Picking him up I walked out of the room with him in my arms and went downstairs to the kitchen. Setting him down on the floor he turned to me.

"cereal?" he asked.

"yeah sure!" I smiled.

I should have known that Xavier would want to make his dad cereal of all things. Getting one of the boxes down from the top of the pantry I passed it to him. Watching him grab one of the plastic bowls in the bottom cupboard he went to the table.

"need help?" I watched him.

"nope!" he poured the cereal in the bowl only letting a few jump out.

Going to the fridge I grabbed the milk and poured a little into the bowl. He got off the chair and grabbed the bowl he started walking away to head back up the stairs.

"forgetting something?" I laughed.

"what?" he looked at the bowl confused.

"this?" I pulled a spoon out of the drawer and handed it to him.

Walking up the stairs with him we went into me and Shawn's room.

"Happy Dads day!" Xavier yelled.

Laughing because he said dads instead of fathers and it sounded a little strange I crawled into the bed.

Shawn grabbed the bowl from Xavier and set it on the night stand. Pulling out little monkey towards him Shawn hugged him tightly.

"thanks buddy!" Shawn laughed.

"welcome!" he smiled. "I got you a gift!" Xavier ran off the bed and back to his room.

"Thanks for making me a father Y/N other wise I wouldn't get to spend this day being a dad" Shawn smiled.

"don't thank me you helped!" I laughed.

"right!" he smirked.

Pulling me closer to him he kissed me.

"ewww" Xavier cried as he came back into the room.

Me and Shawn pulled apart laughing.

"Here!" Xavier handed Shawn a little stack of paper.

They were coupons.

1 Free hug

1 free foot massage

Little funny things like that.

"Thank-you so much my little dude!" Shawn smiled.

He pulled a sheet out of the book and handed it to Xavier.

"Can I use this one now?" he asked.

Xavier's eyes went wide and shook his head.

"oh c'mon!" Shawn pulled the blankets off him and got out of bed.

Jumping up he grabbed Xavier and kissed him all over the face while he laughed.

"There we go!" Shawn set him back down.

"dad!" Xavier laughed wiping his face.

"Do you two want waffles?"

Watching as their eyes lit up at the same time I smiled.

"i'll take that as a yes!"

Xavier ran down the stairs before me and Shawn so he pulled me back.

"Thank-you Y/N!" Shawn kissed me.

"your welcome?" I questioned.

"just thanks for being in my life" he picked me and carried me down the stairs.

Setting me down in front of the waffle iron I rolled my eyes at Shawn and laughed.

"Happy Father's day Shawn I love you"
