Nightmares

Shannon's P.O.V

Sitting in me and Shawn's bed I was just reading a book until he came home from the studio. It was already 1am and I was almost falling asleep until I heard the front door open.

Hearing his footsteps as he walked up the stairs I smiled and put my book down.

"Hey babe!" he smiled. "your still up?"

"yeah! couldn't sleep without you!"

"i'm sorry! I got caught up working on the final touches of my album"

"it's okay, just get changed and come to bed!" I patted the spot next to me.

"okay!"

Watching as he walked into the closet he came back out wearing nothing but shorts.

"nice outfit babe" I smiled.

"shut up!" he laughed.

Coming over to the bed he got under the covers next to me and pulled me into his side.

"You smell nice" I said.

"I don't smell nice all the time Shannon?" he smiled down at me.

"you do!" I giggled hiding my head in the covers.

Turning over I saw Shawn passed out shaking my head at my sleepy boy. Leaning over I turned off the bedside lamp and curled up next to Shawn.

"Shannon, Shannon" I heard Shawn calling my name.

Turning the lamp on I looked over and saw Shawn moving around.

"babe?" I called "hey Shawn?"

Putting my hand on his shoulder he jolted awake and looked at me panting.

"are you okay babe?" I asked.

Watching as the tears sprung to his eyes I pulled him into me and rubbed his back.

"it's okay, it was just a dream"

"It was so real though" he cried.

"I know, I know but it's over now"

"Shannon. I thought I lost you"

"you could never lose me! I'm pretty hard to get rid of you know" I laughed a little.

I heard him sniffle.

"yeah it was just really freaky."

"did you just want to watch some tv for a bit?" I asked.

"sure"

The both of us got out of bed and grabbed some blankets pulling them down the stairs with us we went and got comfy on the couch.

Shawn and me lied down next to each other and flicked on the tv. Pulling the blankets up he pulled me closer into his chest and just sighed. Soon we were both sleeping again, this time with no nightmares.
