Walking up to Y/N's house I was going to pick her up to take her to Canada festivities. Heading to the door I knocked and her mom answered.
"Hello Shawn, Y/N is just upstairs come in" she smiled. "would you like something to drink?"
"i'm good for now thank-you!" I smiled sitting on the couch across from her.
Seeing Y/N come down the stairs I stood up and went to go meet her at the bottom.
"see you later mom!" Y/N smiled as we left the house.
Walking down to my jeep she smiled and got in with me.
"Where are we headed?" she asked when we started driving down the street.
"we're going to like a mini festival!" I smiled.
Driving into the parking lot we parked and got out. Grabbing Y/N's hand as we walked towards the festivities she smiled.
"Let's go!" she pulled me. "you're so slow" I watched as she laughed.
"i'm coming" I caught up with her.
Walking into the grassy area we started walking around and looking at all the different vendors set up. Along the way we had gotten cotton candy and were just eating it and walking.
Eventually we found a bench that was empty and went to go sit and just watch all the people.
"Are we staying to watch the fireworks?" I asked.
"well maybe we could go somewhere else to find a different vantage point?" Y/N said.
"okay!" I smiled pulling her into me and giving her a little kiss on the head.

Driving up a hill Y/N told me to park at the top and we got out. Sitting on the hood of my jeep we just waited until the fireworks started.
"Hope you had a good day!" I looked at her.
"any day with you is a good day Shawn!" she leaned into me.
"touché baby" I laughed.
"Look!" Y/N smiled and pointed to the sky.
Pulling out my phone I posted a photo of Y/N and smiled.

Enjoying the rest of the evening just hanging out with each other I would have to say this Canada day was a pretty good one.
