Stressed

Shawn's P.O.V

Walking into the apartment that I shared with Y/N I had picked up dinner on the way home. She had been so stressed lately from work and just life in general.

"Y/N i'm home" I called as I closed the door behind me.

"i'm in the den" she called back.

Kicking my shoes off I went and set the food down on the kitchen table. Walking back towards the den I saw her sitting at the desk with her hair tied up and a hoodie and shorts.

"Hey baby" I came up behind her and rubbed her shoulders.

"Hi" she sighed and leaned her head down on the desk.

"I brought dinner home for us"

"Thanks!" she smiled.

Watching her get up off the chair she put her computer to sleep for the night and followed me into the kitchen.

We sat down and ate our food in silence but it was a comfortable silence rather than a awkward one.

"So how much work do you have left for the week?" I asked Y/N.

"I have a bit left and then we can hangout I promise" she grinned.

Once we finished our food and cleared our plates I was heading upstairs to bed when I heard a big crash from the kitchen.

"Y/N!" I yelled while running down the stairs.

Running into the kitchen I saw Y/N on the floor and her plate broken all over the counter.

"Y/N?" I knelt down beside her and gently picked her up.

Watching as her eyes fluttered open she tried to stand up.

"hey hey just go slowly angel" I brushed some of the hair out of her face as she fell back into me. 

"what happened?" she asked.

"you must have collapsed from the stress from work" I sighed running a hand through my hair.

"I want you to call your work and tell them your sick and that you can't come in for a few days, all this stress is taking a toll on you babe" I said.

"okay I will"

"let's get you to bed" I picked her up.

Carrying her to our room I set her on the bed and she snuggled into the blankets. Climbing into the bed next to her I pulled her into me and nuzzled my head into her neck.

"I love you babes and tomorrow we're having a relaxing day"

"okay, I love you so so much Shawn" she kissed my forearm.
