How we met

Shawn's P.O.V

Wandering around the halls of the hospital I sighed. Aaliyah was in getting checked out for a concussion and a broken arm from hockey.

I was bored out of my mind seeing as we had been here for a couple hours already and hadn't been helped yet. Feeling my phone buzz I grabbed it out of my pocket and looked down at it while walking.

Running into someone or something I said I was sorry and looked up. Seeing a the girl I had run into my breath was taken away for a moment. She looked a little disheveled and tired.

"i'm so sorry!" she said.

"oh it's okay, it was completely my fault" I smiled.

"wait, your Shawn Mendes?" she asked.

"uh yeah!" I said cautiously.

"that's neat"

Watching as she started to walk away I called after her.

"wait! I don't even get to know your name?" I said catching up to her.

"right sorry i'm Y/N" giving me a small smile.

"It's nice to meet you Y/N, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"it's nice to meet you as well Shawn. And i'm here because my brother fell off his dirt bike and cracked his skull"

"oh holy! I hope he's okay" I said.

"yeah he'll be fine"

Continuing down the hallway we ended up in the cafeteria.

"Do you want food?" she asked me.

"uh sure?"

"kay. let's go" watching as Y/N walked to the line up.

She was looking at all the food choices and finally it was our turn to order. She had ordered chicken nuggets and I had just gotten a ham sandwich. Sitting down together at one of the tables she started eating. 

"I have a question?" I asked.

"go for it"

"why aren't you freaking out that your hanging out with me? Like I mean i'm not one of those celebrities where everyone has to freak out over me all the time but it's just odd that your not"

"Well first of all i'm actually dying inside because your my idol but I have to play it cool as to not draw attention to us. Also it's a hospital and i'm pretty sure i'd be kicked out for screaming" She laughed.

Soon enough though Aaliyah was done and I had to leave.

"Y/N my sister is done and I have to go. But would I be able to get your number and we could hangout again sometime?"

"yeah for sure" she said handing me her phone.

Sending off a text to my phone I replied and then left.

I had a great time today talk soon xx
