Car rides

Y/N's P.O.V

Sitting in the car I was waiting for Shawn to get in from picking up snacks in the convenience store. He was taking ages and I didn't know why, I literally sent him in there for twizzlers. Finally coming out of the store he walked over to the jeep and got in.

"Sorry that took so long Y/N!"

"it's okay!" I smiled.

He started the vehicle and we were back on the road to see my family. The drive was going to take a few hours which I didn't mind because I loved spending time with Shawn.

"So wanna play like 20 questions?" I asked.

"sure!"

"okay what's your favourite color?" I asked.

"green! yours?"

"mines (your fav color)"

"that's a good one! Okay um let's see, favourite animal?"

"easy! (insert fav animal). Yours?"

"elephant! duh!" he laughed showing me his tattoo.

"right! uh so favourite cake flavour?"

"chocolate"

"mine to!" I smiled.

"twins!" he laughed. "last person you kissed before me?" he asked.

"oh uh my ex boyfriend" I said.

"you answered that pretty fast"

"yeah, and?"

"and I don't know I just don't like that" he sighed.

"then why did you ask that question"

"because I wasn't thinking okay"

"yeah whatever"

"come on Y/N you can't seriously be mad at me"

"I can't?" I asked faking being shocked.

"no, I didn't mean to ask you that, it was uncalled for and i'm sorry"

"Shawn, you wouldn't have asked that question if you didn't want to know the answer and I don't even know why you had to ask it because clearly your the only guy in my life" I sighed.

"yeah well I was only asking you so that you would ask me okay?"

"what! why?" I asked confused.

"Because I kissed someone else. It was an accident and it didn't mean anything"

"what the hell do you mean you kissed someone else?"

"Like I was drunk and they came on to me and I couldn't stop them"

"well you could have but whatever"

"Y/N, I couldn't my hands were tied"

Looking at him I narrowed my eyes.

"Shawn. You can't use the fact that you were drunk as an excuse you still know exactly what your doing when your drunk I don't care what anyone else says you still have complete control of your actions" I said.

"Y/N, it's not that simple" he sighed.

Not saying anything I was planning on staying silent for the rest of the car ride which was going to be hard. It was going to be a very long couple of hours. I guess everything in life and relationships can't be all sunshine and rainbows now can it.
