Y/N's P.O.V

"Shawn!" I yelled from our room.

"Y/N is everything okay?" Shawn said coming into the room.

"it's my dad he's in the hospital" I started crying.

"hey hey it's okay, we'll go see him okay?" Shawn pulled me into a hug.

"but he's all the way back home"

"it's okay we'll book a flight it's all good" he rubbed my back.

"o-okay" I sniffed.

"Here you go downstairs and sit on the couch i'll be down in a minute"

Nodding my head I walked down the stairs and waited on the couch for Shawn. I could hear him on the phone with someone and he was shouting a little bit I assume it was because he had a show tonight.

"okay we're all set" Shawn said coming down the stairs.

Landing back home we got into my sisters car because she had come to pick us up. My annoying older brother was in the vehicle as well.

"Y/N hurry up" my sister said as I was tossing my luggage in the back.

"sorry" I sighed.

Following Shawn into the car we both sat in the back and my brother and sister in the front. She started the drive to the hospital and it was a silent long drive.

Getting there she parked and payed for the parking. All of us got out of the car and headed into the hospital. Meeting with my mom she led us towards our dads room.

"hey hun the kids are here" my mom said as we walked into the room.

Walking in I saw my dad on the bed and he looked bad. I let a few tears slip again and just stayed a little behind Shawn.

"Hi guys" my dad smiled weakly.

"Hi" everyone said to him.

"Y/N, come here" my dad held out his hand.

Coming out from behind Shawn I went and held my dads hand.

"it's okay darling i'll be okay" my dad smiled.

"okay" I wiped my eyes with my free hand.

Heading back out into the hallway with Shawn I let my siblings and my mom have a little time with my dad.

"Y/N, everything is going to be okay" he pulled me into his lap.

"How do you know Shawn?" I asked.

"well I don't know for sure but he is at the hospital getting the care he needs and i'll be by your side the whole time" he pulled my hand up to his lips and kissed it.

"I love you" I leaned into him.

"I love you to, and well figure everything out" he hugged me.
