Sitting on my bed I was scrolling through instagram and seeing all the photos that people were posting of Shawn and Hailey at the Met Gala.

Sighing I tossed my phone to the side, I understood that Shawn had to take her because they usually sent out celebs together who wore the same designer. It didn't mean that it hurt less that he was on the carpet with her and not me.

Don't get me wrong I had met Hailey before and she was so nice to me. But I didn't want to see my man with someone else.

I mean come on.

The only thing that reassured me was the fact that Shawn had told fans yesterday at the airport that him and Hailey were only friends.

~incoming call from Aaliyah~

"hey Y/N, how are you holding up?" I heard her voice through the phone.

"pretty good, I guess"

"well that's good! I wish we could have hung out tonight"

"me to Liyah" I sighed.

"don't worry about Shawn and Hailey. Shawn told me before he left yesterday that he felt really bad about this"

"trust me I know he feels bad about this. But I just can't help but be jealous it's annoying because I know I shouldn't be"

"yeah don't worry about anything Y/N"

"okay, thanks Aaliyah"

"no problem"

Hanging up my phone I looked and saw I had a text from Shawn.

Hey baby, i'm sorry you couldn't have come with me to the gala. You don't know how badly I want to show you off to the world. I want everyone to know your mine 😏

It's okay Shawn, I get it. It's for work :)

I only used the smileys when I was upset and Shawn knew that. Throwing my phone on the floor I rolled over in my bed and screamed into my pillow. Letting a few tears of frustration fall down my cheeks I let my eyes close and fell asleep.

Waking up slightly I felt arms around me. Wiggling around I turned and saw Shawn.

"Shawn" I whispered poking him.

"Y/N, I came as soon as I could I couldn't let you go to sleep mad"

"Shawn you know your kind of a dork sometimes?"

"yeah I know!" he smiled kissing me.

Pulling me into him I just breathed in the scent of his sweatshirt. Sighing contently that I had my boy back with me I let me eyes close again.

"i'll show you to the world soon Y/N, I just want it to be perfect" I could feel him kiss my head.

"Love you Shawn"

"love you to Y/N"
