Ok. This is just a random idea that I just thought of. It's a little sad. But you know, I'm heartless, so, yeah. Anyway, prepare for feels. Btw, this also mentions cancer and stuff, so please don't read this if that stuff kinda bothers you and stuff. Ok? Alright! Let's get on with the show, shall we?

~~~~~~~~~~~
You were 25 years old and your 10 year old brother was in the hospital. That's all you got from a call from your mom one day. She just told you that your little brother, Jake, was in the hospital. So that day, you ran down there without stopping and without telling the team.
When you got there, your mother met you in the waiting room and told you what was going on.
"Mom? What's going on?" You asked.
"Jake, he.... He has cancer (Y/N)." Your mother told you softly. Your heart broke when you heard that.
Jake was your world. Yeah he was only 10, but he was still fun and hilarious. You always looked forward to seeing him whenever you could. And believe it or not, but your boyfriend, Bucky, loved to see him too. The two of them would play video games and stuff and you loved to watch them.
"Can.... Can I see him?" You whispered once you got your voice back. Your mother nodded and led you to his room.
There he laid, looking all sick and pale. An IV in his arm and the hospital blanket pulled up to his chest. He looked over at the door and gave you a tired smile when he saw you.
"Hey bub." You smiled a little and went to go sit on his bed with him.
"Hey sis. How's Avenger life?" He asked in a tired voice.
"Still crazy as ever." You laughed lightly. "I heard you're sick." You grabbed his hand gently.
"Yeah. But I'll get over it. Like I always do." He smiled.
"Yeah. You will buddy. You're tough like that huh?" You smiled when he laughed a little. Your mother watched the two of you from the door way.
"Get some rest, ok? I'll be right here when you wake up, alright?" You told him softly.
"Ok. Don't leave, please." Jake whispered and closed his eyes.
"I won't. Promise." You whispered to him and then he fell asleep. Your mother and the doctor walked in.
"What are the treatment plans?" You asked once they were close enough.
"We're still thinking about that. But your mother and I were thinking of doing chemo and radiation." The doctor explained.
"When can we start?" You asked.
"As soon as we get an opinion from Jake here." The doctor said.
"Ok. Ok, thank you." You nodded and then the doctor left.
You weren't ready to lose Jake yet. He still had his life to live. You didn't want his life to end yet. You didn't want to lose him yet. You got up from the bed when your phone buzzed in your pocket. It was Bucky, he was calling you. You left the room but stayed where you could see Jake.
"Hey." You answered a bit sadly.
"Hey. What's wrong?" Bucky asked, his voice full of concern.
"I.... I'll tell you when I get back to the tower later. Ok?" You explained. Glancing at Jake sleeping in the hospital bed.
"Ok. Do you need me to come down where you are?" Bucky asked gently.
"Uh. Yeah. Please. I need you right now." You mumbled in the phone, holding back tears.
