It had been a very long day for you and Bucky. You two hadn't seen each other at all for the whole day, except for when you both had gotten up that morning.
You had been asked by Tony to help him with some things in the lab. While Bucky was asked by Steve to help with the latest mission report. Both tasks had taken all day to accomplish and it left the both of you exhausted.
You were now waiting for Bucky in the kitchen on your shared floor in the tower. You were sitting at the island, half awake as you were eating a half-assed sandwich that you had made.
Bucky had come up in the elevator and smiled a little as he saw you sat at the island facing the elevator. You smiled softly at him with a small smile.
"Bucky bear!" You hummed sleepily as a big grin finished growing on your face.
"Hey, doll." He smiled softly.
You opened up your arms as soon as he rounded the island, wanting a hug. Bucky happily obliged and moved to stand between your arms as you wrapped your arms around him tightly, him doing the same.
"Get something to eat so we can go cuddle." You mumbled into his chest.
"Ok." He nods and pulls away from you to get himself at least something to eat before the two of you went to bed.
Bucky then made himself a sandwich just as half-assed as yours was. You laughed softly and leaned against his arm, causing him to wrap it around your back as he ate his sandwich with his metal hand.
"How was your day?" You asked him.
"Good. Busy. After the mission report, Steve pulled me every which way and that so I could help him with a few things," He explained in between bites of his food. "Yours?"
"Good and busy. Tony had me running around the lab all day long as we worked on new suits for the team and an upgrade for FRIDAY's system." You explained with a small shrug and then you yawned widely.
"I bet you had fun, you nerd," Bucky teases with a small smile.
"Oh yeah. I did." You grinned. Bucky chuckled and finished up his food. You guys sat there for a second before Bucky got up and picked you up.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist as he clasped his hands together under your bum, and you had tucked your head under his chin and let your eyes fall closed as he walked.
Bucky got to your shared room and set you down on the bed and untangled you from his frame, eliciting a whine from you. Bucky just chuckled and grabbed his pajamas and began to change into them. You got up and did the same quickly before flopping face first into the mattress, making Bucky laugh softly at your antics.
Bucky climbed in next to you and you cuddle up to him, your forehead touching,your eyes locking with his as the two of you stared at each other. Just thinking about how lucky the two of you were to have each other. Bucky's hair had fallen in front of his face and as you moved to brush it away, it tickled your nose.
And you sneezed so badly, that you scared Bucky and he jumped and fell out of the bed. He landed on the floor with a thud. You guys laid there, eyes wide with the surprise before you started to giggle and then Bucky started to follow.
It wasn't long before the two of you were drowned in loud laughter that made your sides hurt since you couldn't really breathe. After a while, you two calmed down and then Bucky climbed back up into bed.
"Well, that was different." Bucky chuckled as he laid down again.
"Sorry." You managed to say through your giggles.
"It's alright." Bucky smiled and brushed his hair back behind his ears and your hair from your face with a small smile.
"That was funny." You smiled, your inner child showing. Which really only happened when you were really tired.
"Yeah. It was," Bucky smiled and kissed your nose. Causing you to giggle and crinkle it up. "But come on. Let's get some sleep."
"Ok." You mumbled through a small yawn as your eyes fell closed, tucking your head under Bucky's chin as you curled up close to him.
"Good night doll. Sleep well." Bucky kissed your head as his eyes fell closed.
"Night night Bucky Bear. Sorry for scaring you." You mumbled as you drifted off into dream world. A small smile lighting up your face as you thought about him falling out of bed.
Bucky just chuckled softly and fell asleep second after you.
And sleep well you guys did indeed. Small smiles stretching your lips.

Sorry I disappeared again. But I promise I will be more active within these few days.
I only have two more Finals to take on Monday and Tuesday and then I'm finally Free form that hell hole they call school! YAY!
But then on Wednesday, I get my wisdom teeth taken out so I'm gonna be out for those few days after that.
But It's FINALLY SUMMER VACATION!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
