Till The End of The Line (Bucky Barnes)

Tessa Rogers. Steve's sister. She's gone through the same thing as Steve and the two of them became a crime-fighting team. Captain America and Lady Liberty were your names. They were both frozen and found 70 years later. And she loved Bucky Barnes during the 40's and she still does.

Speaking of Bucky Barnes. Steve and Tessa encountered him when Nick Fury was shot but they didn't know it was him until they found out when they fought him on the bridge. Tessa was hurt when he didn't remember her but she was determined to make him, at least get through to him.

Now, you were on the helicarrier with Steve. Ready to fight and take down project insight with the help of Sam Wilson while Maria Hill gave you the time of when they were ready and Nat kept Alexander Pierce occupied.

Steve took down one with the help of Tessa while Sam got the other. There was just one left and Tessa and Steve were going to take care of it.

Sam was grounded by Bucky since he got one of his wings taken off.

She and Steve walked into the room where the chips were held but Bucky was standing in the way.

"Bucky. Don't make us do this. People are going to die." Steve said, trying to reason with him.

"Please, Bucky. We don't want to hurt you." Tessa pleaded.

Steve then threw his shield at him and it bounced off Bucky's metal arm. The three of them fighting to get the chip and get it into the panel.

"Bucky. Stop!" Tessa pleaded as she had him in a headlock with his metal arm pinned down under her leg. Steve tried to pry the chip from his hand.

"Drop it!" Steve hissed. Tessa squeezed hard and Bucky started to pass out. He dropped the chip and Steve picked it up.

Tessa kicked Bucky off her and Steve boosted her up to the panel with the chip in her hand. She was almost to the panel when she heard a gunshot, glass shatter, and Steve yell. SHe looked down and Steve was falling down to the Potomac. She cursed and quickly made her way to put the chip in. She was stopped short when she was shot in the side. Tessa gasped as she fought to get the chip locked on.

"Bravo locked." She breathed out.

"Good! Get out of there!" Maria and Steve yelled at the same time.

"Fire it now." She breathed as she grunted to get up.

"No. Tessa. I can't lose you." Steve said.

"I said. Fire it now." She growled.

She heard Steve and Maria sigh before explosions started to go off. Tessa made her way down to where Bucky got trapped and groaned as she lifted up on the beam to help him get out.

"Bucky. Listen to me." She breathed out. "You've known me your whole life." She muttered.

"No, I haven't!" He yelled and punched her which made her stumble back.

"Yes, you have. Your full name is James Buchanan Barnes. You know me." She muttered.

"NO, I DON'T!!" Bucky yelled and lunged for her. Taking her down. He started to punch her over and over in the face.

"You're my mission." He growled in her face and kept punching her.

"YOU'RE," punch, "MY," another one, "MISSION!" He yelled and pulled back for another.

"Then finish it. Because I love you and I'm with you till the end of the line." She gasped out.

Bucky froze and stared at her as memories flooded back. Fear and realization washed over his face as a beam fell and Tess fell to the water. Bucky held onto the carrier for a minute before letting go and going down after her. Steve watched Tess fall and yelled as she began falling faster and faster. He saw Bucky go down after her and watched helplessly.

He waited for a few minutes before he saw Bucky pop up with Tessa in his arms. Bucky then started swimming to where Steve waited and dropped Tessa to land after dragging her by the shoulder strap on her uniform.

"Tessa..." Bucky muttered and waited until he saw water dribble from her mouth and take a deep breathe while remaining unconscious. Steve ran over and sighed in relief when he saw her breathing. He looked up at Bucky.

"Do you know who we are?" Steve asked.

"She's Tessa. And you're Steve. My best friends." He mumbled before walking away to go into hiding.

Steve just wanted to go after him but saw that he needed some time alone to find who he was. Who he was before the soldier. Steve looked down at Tessa again and pressed down on a gunshot in her shoulder while he waited for someone to find them and get them medical attention.

"Maria. I need an evac. Tessa's hurt and needs to go to the hospital. She's still alive but I don't know for how much longer. So you better hurry." He said into his com.

"They're on the way to your location now Steve," Maria said and Steve nodded to himself.

He knew the two of you had to wait for Bucky to come back again. And he knew you guys would for however long it took.

The two of you would wait Till The End of The Line.
