You and Bucky were currently on vacation in Hawaii. Tony's suggestion.
It was peaceful and you guys were enjoying every minute of it. The weather was amazing the whole time you were there, the sun was so warm and welcoming.
And now, the two of you were chilling in the huge hammock Tony had at the house you guys were staying in.
You were rocking the hammock back and forth with one foot on the ground while you and Bucky watched the sunset over the water, admiring the beauty.
He was laying next to you, with his head on your chest, your hand gently playing with his hair as the hammock swung gently back and forth from the force of your foot on the warm deck of the porch.
You hadn't realized Bucky had fallen asleep until you looked down at him and smiled gently at how peaceful he looked.
He needed the vacation and so did you. The two of you have been stressed as hell lately and Tony saw that. He took the liberty of sending you two to his house in Hawaii for two weeks so the two of you could unwind and relax, taking a break from the superhero business for a little while.
And seeing Bucky sleeping so peacefully meant so much to you at that moment. You definitely owed Tony a favor.
