A field, desolate, and underfoot a tarmac river flows
The girl saw nothing in front of her, nor nothing behind her. Her mind was desolate place. She was surprised there wasn't tumbleweed drifting along the tarmac runway.
How had she got this bad?

Oh, it's so cold. I watch my breath unfold. It wraps us in a cloud of gloom.

"Excuse me," said a voice in the distance, "can I help you?"
The girl looked up from where she was sitting, and noticed a figure in the foggy distance. She walked over to the figure, and saw it was a boy. He had black hair tightly tucked under a beanie, and he had lovely eyes. He was also wearing all black.
"I'm Josh. What's your name?" He asked the girl.

Stop, disown fear, and I'll be here, if you need a friend, my dear.

"I-I don't know how I got here," the girl admits to Josh.
"That doesn't matter. We all get lost. I'm here for you. And I'm certain you can find a way home again."

GUYS! I'm so sorry this is short, I'm just writing this in order to get into the flow of writing again. I promise I'll write something longer soon.
