"Will there be kilts at the wedding?" My boyfriend, Tyler, asks me as he fixes his tie.
"Yeah, I saw several men in kilts outside our hotel window." I slide my bright yellow flower hair clip that my auntie gave me into my hair.
"You look wonderful," Tyler says, looking astonished. I blush.
"Thanks, Mr Joseph; you don't look too bad yourself." Ty smiles at me, then holds out his arm in order to link it with mine.
"Shall we?"
"We shall," I say, going out to meet my dad in the hallway of our hotel.
"My goodness, I cannot believe your cousin is actually getting married today!" Tyler says to me.
I chuckle.
"I can't believe my auntie has FINALLY stopped asking me about getting a dress for the wedding; it isn't even my wedding!"
"Yet," Tyler mutters under his breath.
"Pardon?" My dad says, slightly glaring at Tyler.
"Oh, nothing, nothing. Hey, Y/N, there's your aunt!"
I walk over to my aunt who had given me the flower hair clip, and she smiles at me.
"Ah, well hello there, Y/N, how are you?"
"I'm good, I'm good. Shall we go inside for the wedding?"

After the wedding ceremony is actually over ('Can't Help Falling In Love' by Elvis played whilst my cousin walked down the aisle, causing her now husband to burst into tears), and we've had dinner, the reception begins. My cousin gets serenaded by her husband, which I teased Tyler about by telling him to 'take notes', and my auntie pulls up my dad to have a dance with her. I film it, then show it to Tyler, who bursts out laughing when he sees the footage.
"You should send that to your mom!"
"I already did!" I laugh, showing him her reply, which was "Oh I LOVE you for sending that!!! 😂😂😂😂😂"
"Shall we have a dance?" Tyler suggests when the band tell us to pick a partner. We go up to the dance floor, then we're told to have our partner on the inside of the circle that we formed, and then to walk two steps forward, and then turn around and walk to steps that way, then spin your partner around, and then waltz.
"What the heck?" Tyler laughs, looking very confused.
"I guess we'll have to try this and see," I say, holding Tyler's hand. We start off slowly, and it's actually quite romantic, but then things start getting faster, and it ends up looking like a very posh Wall Of Death has happened on the dance floor (which - being a metal head - I wouldn't mind, but I'm not sure what the other guests would think of it). My auntie dances with me and Tyler (although it's mainly Ty), and she even starts to pull Tyler's arms around her, and I'm not sure whether to laugh or be embarrassed; but I certainly know which one Tyler is.

Finally, after the DJ set starts, I'm super tired, and so Tyler and I retreat to bed.
"I'm glad we had a good time tonight," I say, walking into the bedroom after getting ready and brushing my teeth. I see Tyler's already in bed on his phone, probably messaging Josh about the wedding, and I notice the tattoos he has on his chest. I climb into bed, and we both snuggle down for the night.
"Goodnight, Ty, I love you."
"Aw, goodnight, my love," Tyler says, turning out the light, causing us to go into complete darkness. I close my eyes, and sleep soon finds me, and I can tell it finds Tyler too because I can hear him snoring beside me, but not before I feel his lips gently kissing my hair.
