September Age 6-7

Today was the day Phil was coming back and Dan couldn't be happier. He was so excited to see his bestfriend after three months. Sadly he could only see him at school. So he eagerly hoped into his mother's car and waited.

"So are you excited for school dear?" She asked and Dan nodded fast.

"Yeah I'm so excited to see Philly!" Dan said. His mother cleared her throat.

"So that Sophia girl sure seems nice." His mom said.

"Yeah she's okay but Philly is my best bestest friend!" Dan cheered. His mother sighed. He cheered when they arrived at school. He rushed into the classroom and looked around. He squealed when he saw Phil.

"Philly!" Dan yelled. Phil looked up and his bright blue eyes were instantly filled with happiness.

"Dan!" He yelled and the boys ran into each others arms.

"I missed you so much!"Dan said. Phil wrapped his arms tighter around Dan.

"I missed you too! Hey your lisp is gone!" Phil said realizing suddenly and Dan nodded.

"Yeah my mom took me to speech therapy. C'mon you have to meet all my friends!" He said and pulled Phil the group of kids but stopped him.

"Actually I made some friends of my own when I was away at that..place. They're names are Pj and Chris! You should meet them." Phil suggested. They were two new students this year. Dan nodded and followed Phil.

"Hey guys! This is my bestfriend Dan. That one is Pj and the other one is Chris." Phil said.

"Hey Philip." Chris said jokingly punching Phil's shoulder.

"Hey Christoper don't call me that." Phil threatened and flicked Chris's head. The three boys laughed but Dan was awkwardly standing behind Phil, feeling a weird tug at his chest.

"Well that's cool..now it's time for you to meet my better friends! C'mon!" Dan said and tried pulling Phil but Phil wouldn't move.

"Dan I don't think you should be friends with..those people.." Phil said and Dan looked at him confused.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because two of those boys act..gay.." Phil said. Dan looked at him weird.

"What does gay mean?" Dan asked. Phil looked at him and pulled him aside.

"Dan it means like..a sin, Y'know liking the same gender." Phil said.

"Okay? There's nothing wrong with that Phil?" Dan looked at me weirdly. "I like you and we're the same gender."

"I mean like like someone. Like with you and Sophia." Phil said.

"What! I don't like Sophia like that! Gross.." Dan said. "Phil I don't like the way you're acting.."

"I'm sorry Dan. That's just how life is." Phil said.

"I'm going to fix you..Come over to my house on Friday. I'll be with my friends." And before Phil could protest, Dan walked away.

"No I won't kiss you this year Wyatt!" Jaeden said.

"Why not you kissed me last year!" Wyatt said.

"No I didn't stop telling people that!" Jaeden said blushing. Wyatt smiled.

"Aww you're so cute when you blush. Cute, cute, cute!" Wyatt said while pinching Jaeden's cheek.
