November Ages 8-9

"Kid pack your shit we're leaving in three months." Pete said and threw some boxes at Phil. Phil has a faint line across his neck ever since the 'incident' happened. His mum chose to ignore it and pretend it never happened. He walked in his room to find Dan sitting on his bed.

"Dan?" He asked confused and Dan beamed.

"Hi Phil! Your mom let me in. I was wondering if you wanted to come over for Thanksgiving? My momma wanted to invite you." Dan said as he watched Phil pack away his toys.

"I wish I could but my mum wouldn't let me." Phil said and Dan looked down sadly.

"Pete and Linda could come?" Dan suggested.

"Okay, I'll ask." Phil said and smiled at Dan.

"So what are you doing?" Dan asked.

"Packing some of my stuff away. Want to help?" Phil asked and Dan shook his head.

"Not really. I don't want you to leave." Dan said and Phil sighed, closing his door.

"Don't say stuff like that. Pete could hear." Phil said and Dan nodded. Dan decided to help Phil and it was silent for a couple of minutes.

"Have you talked to Wyatt?" Dan asked and Phil nodded.

"He's still mad at Jaeden. He doesn't understand why he was acting that way. To be honest Pj, Finn, Sophia and I don't either. Why do only you, Jack, Chris, and Jeremy know?" Phil asked confused.

"I can't say..It's a secret." Dan said and Phil sighed.

"Dan c'mon. We're best friends. We don't keep secrets. I need to know so we can repair the friendship." Phil said.

"Fine..Jaeden has feelings for Wyatt." Dan said and Phil froze.

"Wait what? Your serious?" Phil said, turning around.

"Yes. He's jealous." Dan said and Phil shook his head.

"Well this is a problem. Wyatt isn't gay." Phil said.

"That's not what Chosen said." Dan mumbled but Phil heard.

"What did Chosen say?" Phil asked confused.

"Chosen said that before second grade started, Wyatt told him that he liked Jaeden, like more than a friend." Dan said.

"That's impossible. Chosen was probably just joking, he always says shit like that." Phil said and Dan shrugged.

"He sounded serious.." Dan said.

"Chosen? Serious? Those two words in the same sentence don't make sense." Phil joked and Dan awkwardly laughed.

"I don't know..We can't just not let Jaeden and Wyatt not be friends." Dan said and Phil nodded.

"Well we can't really do anything about it. Except tell him." Phil said.

"Tell who what?" Dan asked confused.

"Tell Wyatt Jaeden is in love with him." Phil said simply and Dan froze.

"No! We can't do that. Jaeden made us swore not tell. We're not betraying him like that." Dan said.

"Dan it'd be wrong not to tell him." Phil said.

"It'd be wrong to expose Jaeden. It's not our secret to tell Phil." Dan said.

"You don't have to tell him, I will." Phil said.

"No you won't Phil. C'mon stop being difficult." Dan said annoyed and Phil scoffed.

"Me being difficult? You won't even help our friends." Phil said.

"You want to basically force our friend out the closet! He's not ready for that Phil! You can't force that on him." Dan said.

"Well it's not fair for Jaeden to be jealous and say who Wyatt can and can't like when they aren't even dating." Phil said, getting a bit mad.

"Phil just stop. We aren't tell Wyatt." Dan said sternly.

"Yes we are." Phil said bitterly.

"Let's ask Jaeden what he wants!" Dan said.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

"You told him!?" Jaeden said while blushing madly.

"Yes and I'm sorry but do you want to tell Wyatt." Dan asked calmly.

"N-No! He'll hate me.." Jaeden said.

"He'll hate you if he doesn't know the truth." Phil said and Jaeden jumped back a bit at Phil's harsh tone.

"Phil stop being rude!" Dan said and Phil rolled his eyes.

"This is ridiculous. I'm telling him." Phil said.

"No!" Jaeden said with tears in his eyes. Dan and Phil turned around to see Jaeden breathing heavily and shaking a bit.

"Jaeden?" Dan said softly.

"He-He can't know..He'll ha-hate me m-more than he already does!" Jaeden sobbed and Dan wrapped his arms around Jaeden to comfort him.

"Still think we should tell him genius?" Dan said sarcastically and Phil rolled his eyes.

"Fine I won't tell him." Phil said and Jaeden looked up.

"Thank you." Jaeden said, thankfully.

"Hey momma?" Dan said as he walked in on his mom doing her makeup.

"Oh hey dear! I was just about to go out with Nugget, is there something you need?" Tiffany asked and Dan nodded.

"Well..Y'know how you said I could invite Phil here for Thanksgiving?" Dana asked and she nodded. "I kinda invited Linda, Pete, and Cassie as well.." Dan said and Tiffany froze.

"Okay..That's..Okay..um..Alright. If Pete comes don't talk to him, okay?" Tiffany said and Dan nodded. Dan went into his room and pulled out paper and pencil. He started to work on Phil's goodbye present. A drawing of the two holding hands, with Dan wearing a princess outfit and Phil wearing a prince outfit.
