It was a Friday night, Jac and Emma were staying over. Life was good in the world of Fletch
They lay in each other's arms
"Mr Fletcher. You know some moves" Jac said breathlessly
He chuckled "You don't do too bad yourself Ms Naylor" he kissed her deeply then flopped back on the bed

"While we're using surnames are you planning on changing yours ?" He asked her
"I hadn't really given it any thought. What do you think?"
"I think it's up to you. As long as you're my wife you can go by any name you want babe"
She smiled to herself "how about Naylor professionally and Fletcher outside of work?"
He hugged her tight. Nearly overwhelmed by his love for this woman. "Ok then future Mrs Fletcher we need to get you a ring"
"It's ok you know,we really don't have to"
"Yes we do. Behave. In fact let's go and look tomorrow."
"Ok" she yawned "whatever you say Fletch, whatever you say"
In the morning there was swimming, football and ballet to co ordinate. Once everyone had been dropped off the engaged couple had just over 2 hours to find a ring
Their search was short as Jac fell in love with the first ring she saw, a sapphire with two smaller diamonds on either side set on a platinum band
"I love it"
"It will need sizing. Should be back in about a week" the sales assistant smiled
"Great" said Fletch
They celebrated with the family that night with a takeaway Chinese banquet and champagne.
After the kids had gone to bed Jac and Fletch sat snuggled in the lounge finishing the champagne
"When are you going to move in Naylor "
"Erm"
"0h come on Jac. We've just been out to buy you a ring"
"Fletch you really need to learn to let me speak"
"Go on then"
"Ask me again"
He grinned "when are you going to move in Naylor?"
"How does next weekend sound. The van is already booked. I mean I was going to surprise you but you ruined it. I couldn't keep you thinking I didn't want to any longer." She laughed "you should see your face Fletch "
He was staring at her. His jaw was on the floor.
"Earth to Fletch" she waved her hand in front of his face
"Well you've certainly achieved the element of surprise if that was what you were going for. I was just warming up for yet another evening of trying to persuade you to move in" he smirked "using any tactics I could, even if they were dirty tactics" he said sliding his hand under her top, stroking her bare skin whilst kissing her neck.
"Mmm" Jac responded
"But" he said moving away "I don't have to now if you've already decided"
"Don't make me change my mind Fletcher"
He wrapped her in his arms chuckling "You're sure about this?"
"Of course. Sorry for taking so long to let go of the last of my Naylor defences"
