Chapter 53 [Setup]

-Nathan's POV-

Andito ako ngayon sa may bounty hunter's head quarters. Papunta na sana ako ng office ni Mr. Vallente nang makita ko si Janiz.

Ang seryoso ng aura niya. Samantalang kanina makapag joke wagas.

"Ms. Janiz.." I called her.
"Oy Nathan.. " Sabi niya sabay lapit sakin.
"Bakit parang bad mood ka?" Puna ko.
"Letche kasi ehh.. Sinermunan ako ni papa. Tshh.." Asar niyang sabi.
"Oh? Bakit naman?"
"Eh.. Binugbog ko kasi yung asungot na newly hired hunter kanina ehh.."
"Say what?!"

Grabe talaga tong taong to. 

"Eh bastos ehh."
"Ano ba kasing ginawa?"
"Aba. Bigyan ba naman ako ng bulaklak.. Liligawan niya daw ako.. Bastos talaga.. Lakas ng trip.. Ako pa napag tripan niya kala niya uubra siya sakin"

At bigla talaga akong natawa sa sinabi niya.

Anak ng tipaklong oh.. Kakaiba talaga mag isip tong babaeng to.

"Ano naman nakakatawa?!" Angil niya.

Medyo lumayo layo na ko at baka ako pa mabanatan nito.

"Wag ka nang magtaka kung bakit ka nasermunan ni admin Carl.. Grabe ka talaga." Sabi ko nalang.
"Hay ewan ko sa inyo!" Angil niya sabay walk out.

San naman kaya pupunta yun? Hindi ba siya makikinig sa plano ni Mr. Vallente?

Hayy.. Bahala nga siya.

I went on and head to Mr. Vallente's office. I immediately knocked at his door and thankfully, ay nandun siya. I went inside of his office and I can feel his serious aura. Napaka intense ng atmosphere at napaka seryoso ng titig ni Mr. Vallente sakin.

"Please be seated." He said to me.

At ako naman ay naupo sa may upuan sa tabi ng table niya. Tahimik lang ako since napaka seryoso ni Mr. Vallente.

"You are aware that Serene Van Renielle's birthday party is tonight"
"Yes.. Ms. Janiz informed me about it.." I said to him
"Well.. Tonight.. We will be having a survaillance team to attend that party.."
"What do you mean? Only vampires can attend that party right?" I said to him.
"Precisely.. We will be receiving help from a certain vampire elites.. They will inform us about the event and its location."
"Wait.. How were you able to convince them in helping us? .. Isn't it that Serene is their royal highness? Are they betraying them?"
"Apparently, they despise the king. For he couldn't put judgement agaisnt his daughter for breaking the rules.. And its unfair for the other vampire elites that had been judge by the king" 

Well that's fair enough. Its like, the king is being bias about his daughter. I can't blame those elites in betraying their king.

"Is that so." I just said.
"After they had inform us the situation.. Depending on what they told us, if the situation is favorable to us, we will infiltrate their premises.. Janiz and the others will deal with Chris and his sibblings.. Our spy will deal with the king and queen .. And your mission.. Retrieve Serene in all means necessary."

So I only have to deal with Serene. I have to capture her kahit na makiusap pa siya sakin. The only thing is, sana hindi maging issue yung pagiging slave ko. Na sana, hindi mangibabaw yung connection ko kay Serene. 

"So what if the situation isn't favorable to us?"
"Its going to be a mission failed. We will have to wait for another chance to capture Serene" 

So, mukang 50 50 tong mission na to. Medyo nakaka disappoint. Pero may iba pa ba kaming choice? We have to risk this kind of chance.

"Don't fail me Nathan. If the situation is good for us.. And if ever you meet Serene.. Chances are, she'll beg you to listen to all of her lies.. Don't give in.." Mr. Vallente warned me and looked at me straight in the eye.
