"I need your help with something," Matt said to me as we left the office.

"If it's not killing Fisk I don't want to hear it," I told him as I stood my ground directly in front of him.

"We are not killing Fisk." He said again as if his simple words were going to change my mind.

"Your right were not doing anything, I am going to kill Fisk." I snapped at him.

"You're not a killer!" He snapped back at me.

"You don't know shit about me and what I have and haven't done," I told him because even though he thought he knew me, he had no idea who I had become in the years we spent apart.

"I know you. I know that you were scared of the dark until you where ten. I know that your first crush was David from kindergarten. I know that you like cats over dogs like a crazy person and that something happened to you when you were away that you're still trying to deal with." He told me.

"All useless shit. I'm not scared of the dark anymore. David was a stupid fuck who used to eat glue. Cats are far more superior to dogs, and you have no idea what happened to me when I was away!" I yelled at him.

"Then tell me!" He yelled back.

"The only thing I'm going to tell you is that I'm going to kill Fisk and you better stay the hell out of my way," I informed him.

"Just give me a chance to prove to you there is another way." He pleaded with me.

"There is no other way. You can't put someone like him behind bars he needs to be taken out!" I yelled at him.

"I found someone who he cares about, I want to go talk to her. Will you come?" He asked as a last resort.

"I'll go, but only because I need to find his weaknesses," I answered him.

I could tell he was fed up with me, but he agreed anyway. I got a cab, and the two of us got in. He said the driver the address of an art gallery on the rich part of town.

"May I help you?" The owner of the art gallery greeted us the second we walked in the door.

Matt and our arms where intertwined and I could not help but squeeze it tightly as I realized this was the lady who was standing behind Fisk at his press conference.

"I hope so. Um, I'm Mathew." He told her as he held out his hand to her.

She reached out and took it shaking it as if she was a normal person.

"Venessa. And you are?" She asked me.

"Luna," I answered as I tried to plaster a smile on my face but falled.

She reached out her hand to me, and it took all of my self-control to take it and not break her hand.

"You're probably wondering what a man who can't see is doing in an art gallery," Matt said to her causing her to laugh.

Such a fake laugh.

"I didn't want to be forward. I just assumed your lovely wife was the one shopping." She answered.

I was about to tell her I was not his wife when Matt interrupted before I could snap at the woman.

"She constantly tells me our apartment is a bit stark." He told her going along with her assumption. "I thought maybe some art would warm it up."
