Matt called and told me to meet him at Claire's. I quickly made my way over to her place and was not surprised to see that he was already there when I showed up. Him and Claire where huddled together looking at a phone.
"Hi, guys," I said as I walked in, Matt looked over at me and gave me a wired smile but Claire did not break eye contact with the phone.
"Theres no numbers in this phone...no contacts." She told Matt.
"It's a burner. Like the one, I use to talk to you. It was buzzing. Did someone leave a message?" He asked her.
"No, a text." She answered.
"What it says?" He asked as I made my way over and sat down on the couch next to her.
"It's a list of locations. Four of them. 47th and 12th, 48th and 9th. 42nd and 10th, 44th and 11th," Claire started to read them off but I knew which one was next.
"44th and 11th?" I asked her hoping I was wrong.
"Yeah." She answered as the two of them looked at me.
"Troika restaurant," I told the two of them.
"Where they were holding that boy?" Claire asked as she realized where I was talking about.
"These addresses, they're listing where the Russians are," Matt said as he got up and grabbed his mask.
"I'm coming," I told him as I got up just as quickly as he did.
"No, it's too dangerous." He snapped back at me.
"Take her. And where the hell did you get this?" Claire told him then asked as she held up the phone.
"A cop." He answered her.
"I said go to the police, I didn't mean" She started to scold him but Matt cut her off.
"He was working for Fisk. Killed a Russian for him, right inside the prescient." Matt answered her trying to justify himself but all I could hear was that there was a dead Russian.
"Who?" I asked him.
"Who, what?" He asked back.
"What Russian did he kill?" I asked Matt trying not to sound so worried but I must not have done a good job because he gave me a strange look.
"Piotr, his name was Piotr." He answered and my heart sunk into my stomach.
"Why do you care?" Claire asked me.
"I don't, I'm just worried another dead Russian is probably going to piss off Vladimir even more," I told the two of them.
It was at this moment that Clair finally looked up from the phone to take a good look at me.
"Where were you dressed like that?" She asked me with a slight smile formed on her face.
"Just out. Nothing interesting." I answered her.
"Looks like nothing interesting, with all those love bites and marks everywhere." She teased me causing Mike to look at me.
"Were you with a guy?" He asked me and I could tell he was trying to size up the situation.
"How about we stop talking about my sex life. It none of either of your business." I told the two of them. "Let's get back on topic," I told the two of them.
"I'm betting if we go through that list we will find Vladimir at one of them," Matt said, he was becoming more and more high strung by the second.
