One tense cab ride later we came to a stop at Melvin's place. If we were going to go up against Fisk, we would need the suits he was making us. We only hoped they would be ready; we told him he had more time.
"I haven't had enough time to get all of it through the process," Melvin told us as he carried over a sizeable wooden box. "Black parts will give the most protection." He said as he placed the box down and opened it so we could see inside. "Red might deflect a knife, depending on the angle...might not." He told us not so confident with his work.
Black good, red bad. Good to know." I commented as Matt reached in to touch the fabric.
"It'll do just fine," Matt told him.
"Wheres mine?" I asked, causing him to turn around and pull out a second box.
"Amazing," I said with excitement.
"Thank you, Melvin," Matt said.
"Betsy?" Melvin asked. "She gonna be safe now from Mr. Fisk?"
"We made you a promise," Matt told him.
"We intend to keep it," I reassured him.
I grabbed the suit he had made for me as Matt did both of us stepping away to change. I could not help but chuckle as I looked at Matts suit. It was red just like he asked just like mine but so much tighter than his black suit. I could see every curve of his body. I had to pull my eyes away from his round ass that I never noticed he had before. The mask that covered his face was hilarious to me with his little red horns. Where those supposed to be intimidating? I guess I couldn't talk because I looked like a character from mortal kombat.
My suit consisted of a few different pieces. The first peace I had to step into was a skin-tight cat-like suit. The bottom half was made out of skin-tight black leather pants that hugged my every curve. The top half was a long sleeve, shirt that went all the way up to my chin. It was made out of material that resembled chain mail and was almost cheer, but I could tell it would be the most protected part of my suit. I had to ask Matt to zip me up as I could not reach the zipper that spread down my back.
The next thing I had to pull on was the holsters he had made that held my knives. Then the thick leather top that went around my neck and down my stomach to cover my exposed flesh that would have been seen threw the sheer undershirt. There was a thick black belt that held everything in place. On the belt, I was able to hook two hard armor peace that would be extra protection to my hips as well as similar plates on my left shoulder. Just for some extra flair like I had asked him attached to the belt was flowing skirt like waves of peace. I attached Nobu's Shoge Hook to one side of my belt. I pulled on the arm plates to protect my left four arms, and my whip bracelet sat on my right wrist. The entire suite was black with red trim to match Matts suit. Everything was black except for the face mask that I pulled up to cover the lower part of my face.
"I guess its time to go," I told Matt, he nodded and the two of us quickly headed out to put an end to Fisk.
"We need to stop him," Matt told me as if I did not already know that.
We looked down from the rooftop to see a delivery truck drive past us.
"No problem," I told him as I pulled out one of the knives form my leg holster and threw it at the truck.
It crashed threw the front window stabbing the driver in the shoulder. The truck started to swerve as the driver tried to remain in control of the moving tank. A few seconds later, he lost complete control, and the truck flipped, sparks were flying from the impact as it skidded a few more feet down the road.
