Blinking blearily, he didn't fully comprehend what had happened.

Then he did.

He felt awful- now he'd have to go back, knowing they had read that note. Knowing that he had dumped all his problems on them.

A doctor came to check up on him. He didn't say anything. Socially awkward, as always.

As soon as they were allowed, his family came to visit him. When the walked into the room, everything was silent.

They didn't ask why. He had already explained.

"We'd support you. You could have told us," Ryan said quietly. He looked up at him. "Have you thought of a name?"

He was taken aback. That was it?

"Also, did you know that there's actual surgery?" He could tell by his father's tone of voice that he was impressed by it. "Like, you can get surgery so you physically match who you are mentally. I don't know how they manage to do that."

He felt like smiling, but couldn't bring himself to do it. His father would never fail to be impressed by anything.

That alone made all the difference.

Just pure acceptance.

"Also, the things you described in, um, the note?" his father started.

He nodded, looking at him.

"They think you have borderline personality disorder."
