"You're an absolute dork."
"I try."
Kurt rolled his eyes, laughing. "Aren't we supposed to be getting a new roommate soon?"
Blaine frowned. "I hope we don't. I was enjoying the, ah, alone time." He raised an eyebrow, smirking.
Kurt blushed, jokingly shoving him. "You dirty-minded Warbler."
"That's not what you thought last night–"
"Blaine, stop it!" Kurt was a furious red.
"Or this morning–"
"You will be banned from laying a finger on me for two weeks if you don't stop."
Blaine laughed, putting his arm around Kurt's shoulders. "We can't have that, now can we? You'd be torturing both of us. Speaking of t–"
"I wouldn't lay a finger on you, either. And trust me, I know where you like them," Kurt added in a whisper.
Now it was Blaine's turn to redden. "That was uncalled for."
"Oh, it was perfectly called for. And it's true, you wouldn't be yel–"
"Alright, alright, I get it!"
Kurt laughed, unlocking their dorm when they got to it.
There was boy– presumably their new roommate– in the room unpacking. He turned when he saw them.
"Hi! I'm Kurt, this is Blaine. You must be our new roommate, right?"
The boy shook Kurt's outstretched hand, nodding. "That would be me. I'm Sawyer."
Kurt smiled warmly. "Pleasure."
Blaine, who had never been great with meeting new people, gave a half-wave. "Nice to meet you."
The dinner bell rang, and they all headed out of the room. "You're welcome to sit with us, if you'd like," Kurt offered.
"Thank you for the offer, but I already have a place to sit," Sawyer said.
They reached the dining hall and went their separate ways.
Sawyer headed over to where Eliah and Blake were sitting, along with some other people.
"You're hiding your hair again," Blake said, frowning slightly.
Sawyer chuckled. "Hello to you too. And my hair's just really..."
"Just really awesome? Yeah, I agree."
"Just be glad I don't have to wear a dastar," Sawyer told him. He immediately elaborated upon Blake's confused expression. "It's a head covering."
Blake nodded. "Oh. Yeah, I am glad for that."
A boy a ways down the table cleared his throat. "Mind introducing us?"
"Oh, guys, this is Sawyer. Sawyer, this is most of the lacrosse team."
"Most?" Sawyer asked.
They all seemed to glance in the same direction. "Sebastian doesn't sit with us," one of them explained.
"In his defense, he probably wants to sit with his boyfriend," another said.
"He's also on the Warblers, so he sits with them."
Sawyer looked over at the table.
"He's the tall one," Blake explained. "The one with freckles and messy hair is his boyfriend, Matt. The blonde is Jeff, he's dating the dark-haired one next to him, Nick. You've met Kurt and Blaine. Wes– he's the Asian one– is dating David– he's the black one. Thad– the hispanic one– transferred a while ago, there are some odd rumors floating around about him."
Sawyer nodded. "What kind of rumors?"
"Well, there's a rumor he punched Sebastian's ex. Also that he's the reason his brother's leg's broken. But then there's some other rumors, like that he stopped one of them from killing themself. And that he went to a party and ended up saving a bunch of girls from getting raped. But... yeah, he's kind of a wild card."
Sawyer chuckled nervously. "Those are some very, very different rumors."
"Yeah, nobody quite knows what's true and what isn't."
