Hamilton's POV
Ugh. It's getting harder to breath every day I'm here. I've been tortured for information and for bait for almost a week. Did everyone forget about me? Or do they not care? It doesn't matter. I'll die here if it means their trap doesn't work. In fact, I'm sure I will die even if they rescue me. Would they send me away? Probably not yet, since I'm in such a bad condition. If they rescue me, Mr. Washington will kill me for leaving bed and for going to the trails, but, he wouldn't torture me. Now, I think the worst thing that could happen would be that he calls for his wife. I've heard stories saying that she's meaner than a grizzly and even the red coats are scared of her. As long as I don't die again, I think (or hope) he won't call Mrs. Washington.
