Hamilton's POV

I wonder if Eliza's even home.
"Alex? What are you doing here?"
"Uh.. Hi, Eliza. I just wanted to talk about the wedding."
"Oh! Of course. Come right in. Let's talk in my bedroom. Angelica's been trying to learn all our secrets." Haha. Secrets. Like my leg. Like me being here. I love secrets.
"Hehe. Wouldn't want her to know any secrets."
"... Okay then. It's just up these stairs." Ugh. I hate stairs. If I walk behind her, she won't even notice. Boom. Ugh. Why do rich people have so many stairs. Oh no. My leg feels awfully wet. And warm. And looks red. Great. Of course my bandage should rip! Now what? Am I gonna fall-.
"Alex! Are you ok?" Ow.
"Yup. I'm completely fine. I only landed on my leg." Shouldn't have said that. Oof. Maybe she hasn't noticed the blood?
"Are you bleeding?" Yes she has.
"No. I... Fell on a tomato." That was believable... Oh who am I kidding? This is just getting worse.
"You are bleeding! Stay there, I'll go get help!"
"No! I'm Fine, my leg just doesn't want to cooperate and is throwing up." What am I doing? Eliza probably thinks I'm crazy now. Or I'm hiding something. Or both. She wouldn't be wrong.
