"I'm not eating raw fish!" I state as Nic, Hazel and I marched through the mall with the 2 of them looking for a great sushi place.

"It's not raw. Well, it is but it's about the texture not the taste," Nic stated, waving her hands in different directions.

"Yeah, that makes it so much better," I said sarcastically.

"You'll love it, trust us," Nic continued to persuade me.

"Uhmm, said no one ever!"

"Found it!" Hazel exclaimed enthusiastically.

We were at the 7 sea's sushi house, which was apparently the best sushi place in LA. A waiter, with a dashing smile, seated us at the sushi bar. I watched as the different pieces of fish rotated around the bar.

"Guys, I don't know what these are."

"Here," Nic started me off, placing 2 pieces of sushi on to my plate. "For beginners, the fried prawn and salmon roses are the best to try."

"Okay," Hazel jumped in, "we have the wasabi, soy sauce and ginger. You can mix the wasabi in the sauce if you want to or have them separately but I personally just hate the wasabi so I don't have it at all but it's up to you. Oh, and the ginger pieces is to sort of clean your pallet afterwards."

Following the ridiculously long instructions, I placed the first piece in my mouth after dipping it into the sauce.

"So?" They both said in unison, eyeing out my reaction.

Ahh damnit. "It's actually really good!"

They both smiled smug smiles.

"Good! Now eat up, we're all going to need the energy," Nic said before we all dug into the rest of our lunch.

Today the girls were helping me move my belongings into my apartment. After 4 months of searching, ever since I got here, and with the help of Alex using his connections and pulling a couple of strings, I finally found a place for myself.

We were splitting the check when my phone buzzed in my purse. It was the mover's.

"Just in time guys. The mover's are picking up my stuff from my mum's."

"Urgh, I forgot about that and I thought I could pass out. I'm so stuffed," Hazel moaned as our waiter came by for the check and his generous tip.

"Then it's a good thing that movement helps with digestion," I said.

The 3 of us waddled out the mall and towards my car in the underground parking lot. Hazel rode shotgun while Nic took the back seat. As the car began to move, I felt Nic stretch over and turn up the radio.

"I love this song!" She exclaimed.

It took me a while before I could remember the name. Taki Taki by Selena Gomez, Ozuna, Cardi B and DJ snake. The beat was so sick. The speakers made the car vibrate as the sound oozed out of it. I've always thought to myself that if I didn't become a doctor, I'd have probably tried my hand in the music industry.

"Okay guys!" I killed the engine when we pulled up in the underground parking lot of my apartment building.

When closing the deal on this apartment, Alex and I made sure that the security in the building was nothing short of excellent. We took the elevator from the parking lot, up to the 40th floor. On this floor was the penthouse suite, my new home. It was way to classy and not exactly my taste but there was no way I was going to win a debate with Alex. All of the apartments in this building was locked with security codes.
