Tyler
"C'mon, Chris? What's the plan?" I impatiently demanded as Chris set up his gadgets and laptop and whatever the fuck else was in that bag of his.
"We need to figure out where he could've possibly taken her," he replied.
"We've been trying to find him for weeks and have been coming up empty. You really think we're gonna find them in a few hours? What's the alternative?"
He stalled and seemed to be thinking very carefully before answering. "He could call."
"Are you fucking kidding me? Are you really telling me that all we're gonna do now is sit around the phone and sing Kumbaya while we wait for a call that might never come?!"
I was furious. My previous episode was nothing compared to what I felt like doing now. Without thinking, I grabbed my keys and started towards the door.
"Where are you going?" Hazel called out.
"If I have to drive around the whole of LA, then so be it. It'll be a lot more productive than sitting around here and doing nothing!"
I heard someone run up from behind and then D was infront of me, blocking my exit.
"Move, D!"
"No. Look man, you're not thinking right now. I think Chris is right, guys like Theo always call," he said in an attempt to stop me.
"Yeah? How the fuck do you know?"
"CSI, but that's not the point," this tart. "Look, you can't be off making rash decisions."
"Why can't we call the cops? Don't you think this is the type of thing they should be dealing with?" Nic queried.
"No!" Alex firmly replied. "No cops because when we find Theo, he's going to be dealt with properly this time and I don't think law enforcement will completely agree with us."
That seemed to scare the girls a bit but it was the truth, so much more now than it was a day ago.
"Does Kate have her phone on her?"Chris asked.
I pointed towards the broken pile of metal on the floor and watched him run his exasperated hand down his face.
Yeah, you and me both buddy.
An hour passed and Chris was still hitting dead end after dead end. He searched for any property listed under Theo's name as well as any connections or friends or family he may have in the area. Nothing. I was on the verge of exploding and if I paced any more I'd probably have driven a whole in the ground.
The clicking sound of the laptop keyboard as Chris worked was interrupted by the striking sound of my phone ringing. I searched my pockets, knowing that that was the last place I'd kept it in but it wasn't there. Everyone began searching on the counter, under the pillows. Nothing. I saw a light flashing from under one of the overturned couches and I dived to retrieve it. An unknown number flashed on my screen and my mind was instantly swamped with ideas on who it could be.
"Blake?" I answered, preparing myself for the voice I know is on the other side.
"Tyler." That was not the voice I was expecting but definitely the voice I was grateful to hear.
"Specs?" As soon as I said that, Chris called me over.
"Yeah," she replied. She was whispering and I could hear the fear in her voice.
"Where are you?" Anything she could tell us would definitely help seeing as how we've been coming up empty.
"I don't know, Ty. I'm in a room in some abandoned house, the windows are boarded up."

Romance"You were worried about me, Specs?" He smirked. "No, Tyler. I hoped that someone cut up your corpse and fed it to paranas. Obviously I was, you idiot! I'm a doctor. Worrying about people is kind of programmed into my system. It's a curse if you ask...
