Sprousehart: New Years

Lili and Cole were sitting on the couch, watching the ball about to drop. It was 11:30, they were cuddled up on the couch; Lili sitting on Cole's lap, Cole's hand on her thigh, using his finger to rub circles on it, and Lili resting her head on his shoulder.

"This is just what I wanted," Lili started, while playing with Cole's fingers, "A night with you. On the couch, with each other"

Cole smiled and rested his head on Lili's, "Me too."

They sat like that, and started counting down.

"Cole?" Lili asked, sitting up a little bit.

3...

2...

"I'm pregnant." she said, smiling.

1...

0...

Cole was shocked and kissed Lili.

"You really are?" he asked, pulling Lili closer to him.

"Yeah, 4 weeks." she said, snuggling into his chest.

"A great way to start 2019." he exclaimed, rocking Lili in his arms, "Happy New Year, baby."

"Happy New Years." she said tiredly.
