I waited backstage as Shawn played up on stage. His cheeks had gone rosy from playing but you could tell his happiness on stage was real and not fabricated.

Shawn hopped of stage and came back into his green room. He instantly ran up to me and bought me into a hug. "You smashed it!" I mumbled into his shoulder
"Thank you..." I felt him smile on me. I could actually stay here forever.
We sat down on the chairs as people walked in and out. Shawn took his guitar out and started strumming and I started singing. . "Ah-ah, he-ey Ah-ah, ah- ahAh-ah, he-eyAh-ah, ah-a" Shawn made eye contact with me and sing along with him.
We kinda sung that until we both cracked out into a laugh. "That sounded amazing!" Andrew smiled from he other end of the room. "That could be a thing"
"Really?!" We both looked at each other and giggled. "Let's make it a thing!" Shawn smiled
"I don't knooooww" I said of of nerves. No ones really heard me sing like that.
"Your voice is beautiful, you've got a following, do this song with Shawn and you would get signed easily, by island records or some other company.." Andrew suggested. "Do you guys wanna do it?" He smirked
"Alissa, I really think we should. It would be super easy to write the rest of the song because you're an amazing song writer!" He encouraged me
"Shawn, I really don't know. The last time I wrote was months ago. I stopped writing once I got with Daniel."I questioned myself
"Seeeee, he was holding you back. I know you love singing, writing and performing." Shawn stood up from his chair and placed his hands on my shoulder and said into my neck
"Shawns got a free day tomorrow, we could look at some studios that are available and we could start the song." "Alissa what do you think?" Andrew smirk
I thought about it. Do I really want to get into this? Shawns right, I have always wanted to do this. "I'll do it!!" I playfully rolled my eyes
"Oh my god!!!" Shawn ran so he stood in front of me, picked me up and spun me around the room. "I've got a good feeling about this!!" He mumbled into me.
"I'm so nervous!!" I covered my hands with my face. "What if people hate my voice?"
"No one said it had to come out. We will see if you like it and if you don't, we won't release it. Simple.." Shawn shrugged.
