"E Kaasan sir,"

Andrew stopped as soon as one of the maids rushed to them, prostrating quickly to show her respect. It only took a second till she was back on her feet, reaching for his coat. She gently took it from him.

Andrew looked around.

Good lord, how he missed being home. It was a long trip from Kenya and with every second that passed, he just wanted to be back at his Mansion. Everything was in place. It was like they never left. It wasn't like he was gone a long time anyway.

The maid slowly turned to Olivia who just stood behind him, Her swollen eyes hiding behind her sunshades. If only she had stopped crying all night the night before for a second, maybe, just maybe, her face would have been a bit better. It was almost like she wasn't in the room with the way she didn't say a word.

"E Ku ile ma." The Maid told her, not like her Yoruba was perfect but she definitely knew the translation of "Welcome home", in English

"How many times have I told you Bisi, No speaking of Yoruba in the house, especially with guests around."

The maid looked around abruptly, in search of the so called 'guests'.

Andrew drew a deep breath as he turned to the flight of spiral stairs. He knew it couldn't be them she was referring to, there had to be someone else in the house utilizing that phrase.

Victoria Silver.

The acting CEO of Silver enterprise, his mother. As always, she sashayed down the stairs, holding on tight to her shawl as her long, purple, African traditional dress, highlighted with shiny silver stones, swept the ground behind her. Her head tie was firm and beautiful, perfectly tied, and those pearls fitted perfectly on her neck, resting on her collar bones. Her yellow skin rhyming with the ray of sun that shone into the room from the windows, lightening up her perfect make up .

This woman's ability to always represent the culture wherever she went, was the reason everyone loved her. The way she always rocked her African attires were always significant and really elegant.

"Better than all those English wears." She always used to say.

Ever Since his father died a few years back, Victoria became the pillar of Silver enterprise, preparing it for her both sons to rule when it was time. If only she could smile more often, Andrew knew his mother had the most beautiful set of dimples he had ever seen.

Victoria only reserved her smile till there were cameras and people in front of her.

"Don't just stand there." She continued, glaring at the maid just as she reached the last stair. "Go set the table for lunch immediately." She ordered.

Every worker in the house was scared of her, who wouldn't be? She had that effect on everyone that really knew her and those that didn't.

The maid bowed quickly and took to her heels.
