The pinkette harshly bit his lip at the note he read, a single tear dropping on it. He jammed the paper and threw it across the apartment.

"Damn it!!!" Natsu shouted in the air as more of his emotions got to the surface.

"Natsu, please.. let's go.." blue neko whispered while trying to hold back his tears, but he soon failed.

Happy flew to Natsu's chest and hugged him, making Natsu squeeze his best friend with all his might.

"I miss her so much, Happy..." he whimpered.

"Natsu! Where the hell have you been?!" The blonde yelled while running to her favorite Dragon Slayer.

His eyes widened at the familiar voice. He turned around and grinned.

Her blonde hair tied in a side ponytail waving on the wind.
Her eyes shining with happiness.
Her smile visible from ear to ear.
She truly looked happy.
She didn't look like someone who's self conscious.

"Luce..." he stretched his arm out in hope to embrace her.

But as she came closer, and closer, and closer...

Her body began decomposing in golden particles. She looked panicked and ran faster, but as much as Natsu wanted to move, for some weird reason, he couldn't.

The Fire mage became desperate to make a single movement, but his body wouldn't budge.

Tears filled both of their eyes as the realization hit them like a bullet.

"N-No.."

"Don't leave, Luce... please..." he begged.

"Natsu..!" She yelled desperately before completely disappearing into the air.

"NO!!"

"Natsu? What happened?" Someone whispered worriedly beside him. His head turned almost immediately after hearing too familiar voice.

"Y-You're alive.. o-oh thank god, Luce.." a smile formed on his lips as he caressed her cheek, but tiredness suddenly came over him. His body gave up and he passed out on the bed once more.

"Oh, Natsu... I'm so sorry you read that letter.. I can never express how sorry I am.." the blonde said painfully while stroking pinkette's hair gently.

"I love you, Natsu, I promise I'll never leave like that again..." she whispered in his ear and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Natsu sighed happily in his sleep and wrapped his arms around the Celestial mage, pulling her as close as humanly possible. Never having the intention to let her go.
