"Are you ready to see daddy?" I asked my cheerful son as I zipped up his jacket.

"Yes mommy!" He beamed with excitement.

As soon as I was done fixing his jacket and tying his shoe laces, he waisted no time pulling my hand and practically dragging my ass inside of the restaurant where we were meeting up with Jeremy.

Al though I was in no way emotionally ready to see him, I had to put my feelings behind me and hold it all together for Mikey, he hadn't seen his dad in awhile and it was very selfish of me to keep him away from him as long as I did. He was really missing his father—-ever since we left there was a loneliness I saw in his eyes that was never there before and I knew the only way to get rid of that was for him to see his father, who he looked up to and loved very much.

"There he is right there mommy!" He yelled, tugging at my hand, "look!" He pointed in the direction of Jeremy, who was on his phone but quickly ended his call as soon as he saw us.

Before I could tell Mikey to calm his nerves, he was already running towards him...it was the fastest I think I've ever saw him run. Jeremy bent down and gave him the tightest hug ever. He was so happy to see his father he started breaking down crying, making me feel even worse for keeping them apart.

"It's cool buddy", he consoled him. He grabbed a napkin from the table and cleaned his face, "stop crying man, what I told you about that huh?" He took his hand. "Come on, let's sit down." He got into the booth and Mikey scooted in the spot next to him. "You been good for mommy?" He asked him in a serious tone.

My baby nodded his head up and down as he rubbed his teary eyes dry.

Seeing Jeremy again...I couldn't even lie to myself anymore...I missed him sooo much, and that was exactly why I avoided seeing him.

He was looking so good and was smelling even better.

After talking to Mikey for a little while longer, I finally gained his attention. "Hey", he said dryly as he looked up at me with those sexy hazel brown eyes that I fell in love with.

"Hey", I replied. I sat Mikey's Spider-Man backpack on the seat across from them. "All the stuff he might need for the day is in his bag."

He stared at me for awhile with an expression that was sort of unreadable—-it was like a combination of hurt and confusion. "Thank you", he said lowly before picking up his menu, creating an awkward moment between us.

I couldn't wait to get out of here—-I just could not be near him right now. So many different emotions were running through my body and I just couldn't take being in his presence. I was feeling so weak over him.

I turned my head towards my son and gave him a smile. "Mommy's gonna see you later okay? Be a good boy." I gave him a small peck on the cheek and turned around preparing to walk away.

"No mommy", he grabbed onto my blouse, "please stay with us....pleeeaaasssee."

"Yea", Jeremy gestured towards the other side of the table where the empty seat was, "come sit with us." I was pleased to see that he wasn't as dry with me as he had been a few seconds ago.

"Umm", I thought about it for awhile before finally giving in, "Okay...fine, but I could only stay for like an hour." I sat down across from them.

"That's cool", He said, his eyes lustfully checking out my body. "That's how long we plan on being here anyways."

"Okay, well, that's fine with me", I told him before pulling out my my phone to check my text messages. Seeing that I got a missed one from Jake, I opened it.
