Chapter 45

Soda's POV
Where is Courtney? Pony, Johnny and I have been running all around town trying to find her but she was no where to be seen. Where could she be? I was about give up when I saw something shine up ahead. I ran up towards it and saw that it was my sister's switchblade she had got with her own money. But she would never go somewhere without it.
"What's wrong?" Ponyboy asked.
I turned towards Ponyboy and Johnny nervously, showing them the blade.
"This is Courtney's she would never go anywhere with out it."I said tears starting to form in my eyes.
"We should go see Darry." Johnny said.
"Yeah Im sure he can think of something." Ponyboy said.
Even though, I doubt there was anything Darry could do. We would still try.
We ran back to the house as soon as possible and I slammed the door open.
"Whoa easy there. Who started the fire?" Two-bit said.
"Shut up Two-bit! I'm not in the mood!" I yelled.
"Whoa easy there pretty boy." Dally said.
"Where's Darry?" I asked.
"What is it? Did you find her?" Darry asked coming from the twins bedroom.
The gang and Darry looked at us curiously yet hopeful. That would soon be crushed though.
"No, this was all we found." I said handing Darry the blade. The group walked over curiously to see what it was.
"She shouldn't have a blade!"Darry yelled
"I let her get it. She was getting jumped all the time." I said
"Why would you do that!" Darry yelled.
"Relax Darry." Pony said
"Don't tell me to relax." Darry said.
"We need to find her." Pony said
"Maybe she went to Buck's." Dally said
"You know she wouldn't do that.
"We can search tomorrow with you." Athena said.
"We're in this too." Aurora said.
Darry, Pony and I agreed just hoping our sister is safe.
