The Curtis Sister

Chapter 9

Courtney's POV
They kept me in the hospital for three days. I was going insane. I hated hospitals so much. I just wanted to go home and be with my brothers.
"Courtney Curtis?" A Doctor asked coming in to my room.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"You look like you are all ready to go. Do you have someone who can pick you up and sign you out?" The doctor asked.
"No, at least not until tonight. My older brother is working." I said.
"Very well. Oh and you have a visitor. I'll let him in." The doctor said.
"D-Daxtyn." I stuttered fearfully.
"Hey baby girl." Daxtyn said coming closer to my bed.
"I'll give you two some privacy." The doctor said and left. No. Don't leave me with him! I thought.
Daxtyn sat on my bed and as soon as his hand came in contact with my cheek I flinch instantly. You would to if your abusive ex-boyfriend was sitting by you on your hospital bed.
"P-please Daxtyn just leave me alone." I said frightened.
"Now I would I do that? You are my girlfriend after all." Daxtyn said and began to kiss my jaw and down to my neck.
"No I'm not. I told you we were through!" I yelled and Daxtyn slapped me.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" Daxtyn yelled and pushed me onto the hospital bed. He then began to put his hands down my pants and I screamed. Next thing I knew someone had shoved Daxtyn off of me.

Ponyboy's POV
Johnny, Two-Bit and I were heading to  the hospital to see my sister. She was supposed to get out today. We had just arrived at the hospital and were about to enter my sisters assigned room when we heard screaming coming from it. I pushed open the door quickly and my eyes widened with anger at what I saw. Daxtyn was on top of my sister. I don't know what overcame me but I rushed over to where he was and pushed him off of Courtney.
"What the hell?!" I yelled at him and got in front of Courtney protectively.
It didn't matter that she was older than me, she was still my sister. I looked back and saw she had tears in her eyes and was shaking and that only fueled my anger.
"What are you doing here Connors?" Two-bit asked angrily. All the guys were protective when it came to my sister, seeing as she was the only girl in our gang.
"Just visiting my girlfriend." Daxtyn said.
"I'm not your girlfriend!" Courtney said tears running down her face. She flinched as soon as Daxtyn raises his hand like he was going to hit her, but I grabbed his hand.
"Leave now." I said angrily.
"I'll leave when I'm ready." Daxtyn said.
"Leave now. You ain't wanted here." Two-Bit said getting in front of Courtney protectively as well.
"Alright I'll go. I hope they catch who ever attacked you baby girl." Daxtyn said with a smirk and left.
Courtney then just broke down crying. I look at Johnny who had watched the whole thing frozen.
"I-I'm scared Ponyboy." Courtney cried and I sat down on her bed and held her in my arms as she cried into my chest until Darry and Sodapop got here. I hated seeing my sister in pain. Man, I wish I could take all her pain away.
