"Babe you ready?" You yell while sliding your heels on, "I'm coming out no-" Jimin face drops from his smile to a straight lipped glare.

"What are you wearing?"

"What the dress? You bough this for remember you said it makes my boot-"

Jimin interrupts you waving his hands, "Not your dress, I love the dress...what is that on your feet". You scan your eyes downward until you're looking at your toes.
"Oh these are the Saint Laurent red bottoms I was telling you about, they were a little out of budget but I love shoes too much to let these babies pass"

Jimin sighs, "Can't you wear sneakers or something?"

You jerk your head back, "Nig- no! The fuck I look like wearing Nikes with a bodycon ballgown" Jimin pouts and goes over to and wraps an arm around your waist, "Please babe...not even sneakers...maybe really pretty sandals"

You smirk at him before pushing him away and grabbing your clutch purse, "I'll be in the car and if you're not there after five minutes I'll just go myself" Jimin groans loudly and follows behind, the two of you get in the car and drive to the event.
You guys were going to Seokjin's Engagement Gala, it was white tie so you knew you'd have to go all out for all the A list celebrities being there. As soon as Jimin rolled up in front rhe Loeb Boathouse you guys are met with Valet, "Hello I can take this off your hands"

"Please don't park it in the sun, this baby is sensitive"

"Oh like you about your height?" You tease, Jimin chews down on his lip and looks at you.
"I'm not going to respond to that just yet..." he gets out the car and the Valet opens your door.
"Thank you sweetie" as one leg swings out of the car the valet began to stare intently, he watches you get out the car and admired your long legs.
"Th-that's no problem ma'am"

Jimin clears his throat at the teenager who was obviously eyeing his wife, the valet lowers his head and walks to the drivers side, "I will make sure your sun is in the shade sir" and he quickly got in and drove off. "Hmm I like that kid" you giggled, "Yeah sure" Jimin held onto your hand and guides you into the party.

"Oh my gosh Jin this is amazing congratulations!" You scream as soon as you see him, Jin grins, "Not as amazing as what your baby shower is gonna be"

You jerk your head back for the second time today, "What? I'm not pregnant"

"But you will be with that dress on" Seokjin winks at Jimin as he began to laugh loudly while clapping his hands. You and Jimin stare at him for a good moment before the elder controls himself, "Okay you guys enjoy the party" he pats Jimin's shoulder "I bet girl, if you were gonna be the first to get married the least you could do is give me and the boys a few nieces and nephews" he laughs again before officially walking away.
Jimin shook his head with a sly grin on his mouth, he took a drink from his glass and looks around catching a few gazes you too had and almost instantly began feeling insecure so he just stealthily rose up on his tippy toes so he was just a couple inches closer to being taller than you.

You felt a presence that wasn't there before and immediately turned to him, "Jimin...what the hell are you doing?" You giggled seeing him on his tippy toes, "I'm just stretching my feet...hey you wanna see down I know your legs must be tired from all the standing"
A smirk appeared on your lips, "Yeah sure babe let's go"
Jimin guides you to a table where Jungkook was already sitting."Hey guys" he grins at you and your husband, you compulsively pat his head, jungkook was like a little brother to you.
Jungkook "Ahh I'm not a kid anymore...I'm almost as tall as you...Hyung when are you gonna stop being a kid?"

Jimin raises his hand to slap him but you block his hand, "Don't. He's just joking right jungkook?"
He nods cutely, "Fo you want something to drink?" He asked you, "No I'm good for now"

"Okay I'll be back" he gets up and walks away, Jimin widens his eyes in disbelief "He didn't even ask me-"

"You tried to slap him"

"He talks wrong to me, don't be bias you know it y/n"

You shrug, "Okay I think having sore feet would be better than this...I'm bored now" You began standing but Jimin sat you back down, "Why don't we just wait for a bit and then-"

"Jimin what's wrong with you...usually you'd want everyone to see me on your arm, what's so different about tonight?" You spat, Jimin sighs while running his hand down his face, "I...I told you not to wear those shoes-"

"Oh my gosh seriously?"

"-Yes seriously everyone is looking at us because of it"

You roll your eyes, "And so what if they are? I've got stares my entire life for being the tallest girl in the room. If I spent all my time trying to keep them from staring, I'd never realize how fine I look in heels and and I'd probably have never even thought of giving you a chance" Jimin frowns, "Wait what?"

"That's not the point...I'm saying that...what people think of me and you do not matter like...at all" you grab his hand, "So babe let's just go back and we can gleefully show each other like the trophy spouses we are okay?"

Jimin pouts at you, "Okay but if people ask I'm 5'9 and a half" you laugh at his stupid sense of humor, "You are so stupid" the both of you stood up and walk over to jungkook who was slyly flirting with a group of girls.
"Yeah but I try not to talk about it to much because I don't like bragging" he shrugs, the girls look at each other with 'I'm completely falling for his stupid attempt at bragging while saying I'm not bragging' they smile back at him.
But one of their eyes shift toward you and she covers her mouth, "Holy shit! You're like a Amazonian goddess" she began to count how long your legs were.
"Thank you?" You said with a light laugh.

And as the girls continued to compliment your height Jimin stares at you with a smallest smile, he had to constantly remind himself how lucky he was to have you in the first place.
