3rd person POV
As the crowd cheered Dark's name as he finished his song he waved to them all, crouching down to high five the people in the first few rows before standing back up and thanking them all and leaving.
As he got off the stage he went to thank the crew who had helped set everything up but he was quickly pulled to the side by his partner, being pulled into a kiss.
"You did great baby!"she praises, a bright smile on her face.
His partner was a girl called Emily Baxter , a famous pop singer who he got with just over a year ago. She was a lovely woman, and a good singer too...however...Dark didn't really feel the same as she did for him.
Emily loves Dark with her heart and she definitely showed it and of course when they first started dating Dark felt the same...however over time he had felt his feelings slowly fade away from the purple haired female and towards someone else...a green haired male, named Anti, who just so happened to be his best friend.
Whenever Anti would talk to him he'd feel his stomach fill with butterflies and he'd find it hard not to turn into a stuttering nervous wreck. Or whenever he'd hear his friend laugh he'd find it so difficult not to blush from how much he adored it so.
It even got so bad as to the point where one point when him and Emily were making love...he imagined her as Anti . Now he'd never cheat and trust me he felt guilty for thinking such things, but his feelings were overwhelming...
Now you may be thinking, 'Dark why don't you just break up with Emily and be with Anti?'Trust me, it's easier said than done.
First of all Emily would be so upset, she truly loved Dark and Dark wished he loved her just as much as he did in the past, but emotions aren't as simple as that.
Secondly he didn't even know if Anti felt the same , yes he knew he was gay , but just because two men are close or are attracted to the same sex doesn't mean their gay for one another
(looking at you shippers who ship anyone who even looks at each other for a split second)
And lastly the media, god no did Dark want to cause more drama when the media was screaming about global warming not existing , or that video games caused violence despite the fact they really don't, or the media kissing the ass of any person of minority who is horrid to cis straight men . Trust me the last thing Dark wanted was headlines such as 'DARK IPLIER CHEATED!?' Or some shit like that .
He had to decide though...he either carried on with the life he had, stayed with Emily and continued to be friends with Anti and ignored his feelings and be somewhat content . Or break up with Emily and risk his chances with Anti where he'd be happy...

Dark slowly approached Emily, his mind buzzing .
"Oh hey babe!" She greeted him, hugging him softly, he returned the hug with one arm.
She pulled back to look up at him, noticing he looked troubled.
