3rd person POV
Now usually Dark tried not to worry about his lover , as he didn't want to be too overprotective of him or anything...however...
Recently Anti had been arriving late from work, and not like a few minutes late, like a couple hours late . And usually Dark tried to brush it off as Anti's work holding him back for little bit or the traffic being particularly bad...however...when your as anxious as Dark, other , not so tame reasons come into mind.
All of them were usually something to do with Anti being hurt somehow or involved in something bad ...and one other thought Dark always had, which he always felt guilty for thinking was 'what if Anti was cheating?'
Now of course Dark trusted Anti, he trusted Anti with his life. But his own self doubt was far louder than the logical side of his brain.
So Dark decided to try and finally figure out what made How boyfriend so late.
"I'll see you later love. Have a good day." Anti says, putting on his coat as it had started to get a little chilly and slipping the bag he needed to bring to work onto his shoulders.
"You too baby. I love you ." Dark says, cupping his face and kissing him. Anti happily kisses him back, placing his hands over Dark's, smiling softly.
"I love you too Dark." Anti waves to him as he leaves , closing the door and heading to his car.
Dark continued to wave to his lover through the window as he left, smiling.
Once his lover was out of sight Dark sunk down onto the sofa, laying back against it.
He had planned to wait outside of Anti's work just a few moments before the time Anti had finished his shift and see whether his worries were true or just his mind being a dick.

Dark had parked on a lane just near the building Anti's work was located. He was out of sight and had sight of the entrance and of Anti's car.
Of course, Dark felt horrible for doing this , but he knew that if he didn't, the anxious thoughts would only terrorise him further.
Bang on the supposed time that Anti was suppose to end his shift Anti, as well a few other people, were heading out, Anti saying goodbye to some of his work colleagues as he headed across the road to his car...and started driving a opposite direction to their home.
Dark's stomach practically dropped at the sight as a feeling of unease set in.
"N-no Dark stop...h-he could be j-just going to get food or something..." Dark gulped as he follows Anti, trying to calm his nerves.
Eventually the Dark haired male found himself on the outside of town where there was still some snow left.
A little bit further was a frozen over lake and...someone was ice skating on it. Dark squinted his eyes to see if he could see them better.
He gasped , his eyes widened and he quickly got out the car.
It was Anti, he was ice skating, and really damn good at that. It was like watching some magical dance from a winter prince . Consider Dark entranced by it.
He was shocked, like he just saw that a certain character was added to one of his favourite video games . But this was different, he wasn't shocked in disbelief, he was shocked in an awe like state, his heart swelling up at the sight.
Anti seemed to be really enjoying himself, a huge bright smile on his pale face. It sparked joy in Dark.
As the performance came to a stop Anti did one last jump , spinning and landing perfectly.
Dark couldn't help it, he started clapping, his gloves muffling the sound, but Anti somehow still heard it, he looked up instantly, his expression of that of surprise upon seeing his boyfriend.
"Dark? What are you doing here?" Anti asks , skating back to steady land , meanwhile Dark jogged over to help him.
"Uhm...I-I ...I was gonna ask you the same. You were amazing!" Dark exclaimed, making Anti's already rosy cheeks go even more red.

The two sat in the car , the heating on full blast to help Anti warm himself up . Anti had noticed Dark was really quiet, messing with the little trinkets on his keys.
"Dark?" Anti finally spoke up.
"Hm?" Dark looked over at him, his glasses lightly fogged up due to his cold breath hitting them.
"You ok? Anti asks, clearly looking concerned for Dark.
"Yea just... " he sighed.
"The real reason I'm here...is because I wanted to see why you were always so late from work...I-I was worried you were in danger or you...you were cheating. I-I felt bad for even thinking you'd do that...I-I'm sorry ." Dark's words were laced with genuineness.
Anti smiles, he climbed onto his lover's lap, facing him and cupping his face .
"Dark it's ok. You can't help your worrying . And I'd probably think the same if I was in your situation. But just know, I would never ever cheat on you, I love you and only you." Anti explains.
A smile formed on Dark's face .
"I know , I love you too ." Dark leans into his touch , hugging him close.
Anti giggles to himself.
"Your such a worry bug. You silly." Dark blushes but smiles in amusement.
"Hush . I can't help it, I care to much about you."
Anti smiles more, before a cheeky smile appeared on his lips.
"Why would I need to cheat on someone else if I have the perfect man right here. He's a dorky hunk, what more could I ask for." Dark definitely blushed at that.
"Plus nobody can dick me down quite like you-"
"Anti!" Yep, Dark was definitely red.
