Chapter 8 - Then and Now

Negan has had a few drinks by now but he's not drunk but he's feeling it just a little. The guys always try to get him hammered but Negan is responsible enough unlike, Kyle and Simon who really can't handle their alcohol. Negan is thinking about Jack and mostly just about the way she looks at him and how he really wants to kiss her and he would have but then he thinks maybe it will scare her and freak her out.

Negan knows she still needs time and she is still a little weary after all that shit and he only wants to be respectful of her and he is going to wait for her to be ready before he tells her how he feels. He snaps out of his daydream by Kyle mentioning her name.

"Yeah i invited that hot girl Jack that works in the infirmary, i mean damn she got one hell of a rack on her and her ass well i got an eyeful of that too, but she refused me which shocked the fuck out a me 'cause i could tell she wanted me, the way she was acting all shy and cute"

All the guys are laughing but Negan and he has smoke coming out of his ears. He knows Jack is hot and his saviors won't resist her but the thought of hearing him talk about her that way is just not okay.

Negan tries to control his anger, but Kyle keeps going on bragging about Jack and he has enough. The last thing he says pushes him over the edge.

"I mean fuck if she wouldn't have refused me i would have bent her over and fucked her right then and there i mean i bet her pussy was fucking nice and wet too"

That's it i have heard enough of this fucker, how dare him talk about Jack that way, this shit is not okay i have sworn to protect her and that's what i'm gonna do.

Negan wastes no time as he picks him up by the scruff of his shirt and slams him against the wall with enough force that Kyle let out a "what the fuck"

"You listen to me you little fuck, don't you ever go near her again, you hear me... if i ever hear you mention her name again or even look at her, i will kill you with my bare fucking hands and put you on the fence do you get that"

Negan is angry, he feels his face on fire as he holds Kyle against the wall. He is so overprotective of this girl he doesn't give two shits about what he does. She is all that's on his mind.

"Yes Negan.. i..i didn't touch her i swear and i won't...i won't touch her"

"Good you better not and that goes for everyone, she is off limits you treat her like you treat me and that's all there is to it" All of the men hear him loud and clear as Negan lets go of Kyles throat. Negan is so mad he leaves the room and goes back to his. But he wants to check on Jack and make sure she's alright.

Negan opens her door quietly and there she lays and she looks peaceful. He figures she's alright so he closes the door and goes to bed himself still thinking about what Kyle said.

What if Jack really does like Kyle i mean of course she would like him, there about the same age. Jack deserves the world and maybe i'm not the one who can give it to her. Fuck me i would love to be the one to give her everything but fuck i just can't tell her that.

Why can't i tell her that? She might move on from me now and it's all my fault and i can't stop her from doing what she wants that would be wrong of me. She really means a lot to me i just have to show her.

Negan climbs into his bed and he falls asleep and he wonders what the future holds for him and a certain girl who is taking over his mind.

-Jack POV -12 Years Ago-

School started a few months ago and it's been going really well. I had made a friend her name was Katie we clicked almost instantly. She became my best friend.
