Chapter 34 - First Visit

Never in a million years did Jack think her and Negan would fight, this is the first time they have faught and even though it wasn't a big fight they both slept in separate beds that night. She found herself pinning for him, tears running down her face. Jack feels horrible about it too, so she walks across the hall to say sorry.

Negan is still asleep so she takes a quick shower and gets dressed. It's early yet mostly everyone is still asleep so Jack heads to the kitchen to find something for Cash to eat. She picks up an apple and walks outside the sun is just rising. Cash is still tied up and she walks up to feed him.

He eats the apple in no time and she pets him for a few minutes till she sits against the tree to relax. This is her alone time, and it makes her think about today. Now that Negan feels better he is going for the first pickup to Alexandria and Jack had bad feelings about it.

She is left wondering what will happen, she doesn't trust Rick Grimes and his people, they have slaughtered a ton of saviors and they could try to pull more shit. After a while of just soaking in the cool, crisp air Jack goes back inside leaving Cash for the meantime. People are awake by now eating breakfast and saviors are preparing to get ready, some of them are down by the trucks already.

Jack enters her room and Negan sits on the couch cleaning Lucille. Walking over to sit down next to him, he glares at her, expecting her to speak but she doesn't. Nothing but awkward silence lingers between them.

"Do...you still want me to go with or are you going to be an asshole about it" Jack asks as she fidgets with the zipper on her red jacket. Negan looks down at her, trying not to stare at her cleavage, but he chokes back his words and clears his throat.

Am i missing something here, she is purposely sitting there like that. I want to say i'm sorry to her but i feel like she might not think it's true. I need to give her time i guess, i really messed up i don't ever want to hurt her or yell at her again. So i have to choke it up for now and deal with Rick the fuckin' prick for today.

"Yeah, you can go i need you there with me besides you would miss the show, who knows what the fuck to expect, i need my girl with me" Negan says smartly, Jack is expecting him to say he is sorry but she brushes it off. Maybe he doesn't need too say it.

"Okay, i'm glad you still want me to go i would like to see what happens i'm curious about this place they might have some really good shit"

"Well let's get going then, time is a wasting i got to wrangle up the guys a while just meet me by the truck, we need to stop and get my damn car on the way back" he says with a tone and Jack lets out and "oops" she had forgotten about the car.

"Okay, mr. bossy i heard you loud and clear" Jack gets ready, her gun is loaded and safety is on. She uses the bathroom before considering it's a little bit of a ride. Then she leaves the room and heads down to the truck. Negan and Dwight have a discussion while Daryl is brought out and he gets shoved in the truck.

"Alright everyone let's get going, got a long ride ahead of us so chop chop"

Jack rides in Negan's truck, and they sit in silence till the stereo comes on. Jack tries so hard not to sing along the song, and she looks out the window trying to avoid eye contact with Negan. She knows that he is trying to tease her but she brushes it off.

"Come on baby, sing along i want to here your beautiful voice or am i going to have to tickle you?" Jack moves slightly trying not to laugh, she is still mad at Negan but his hand comes over to tickle her.

"Stop...it fuck off' she giggles like a like a little kid, but he stops as a sign for Alexandria comes into view, she knows they have to be close.

"Seriously you think just cause you tickle me and turn on music i'm going to forgive you, huh yeah right Negan i'm so pissed at you yet"
