..we both stared at each other in serious shock,
"What is going on here?" Edward asked confused not knowing what to think, I refused to talk because I was waiting for her own explanation,
"Baby" he said turning to her, "you two know each other? "
I watched her smile at Edwards immediately and put one hand on his chest "I saw him during registration where I borrowed his pen and ever since then I've not seen him except now"she said
I didn't know when I laughed, I don't know why I did or what was funny but I just kept laughing.
Edward turned to me "Na wetin you no fit talk "he asked laughing too not understanding what just happened....
I didn't know what to say, I just shrugged, picked my laptop and got up from my bed.
"Where you Dey go nau B? "He asked "you won tell me say you never see where person Dey nack "he laughed.
"I just want fresh air "i laughed back walking towards the door..
"But cold Dey nau, and rain Dey fall"he insisted,
"I go sit for veranda, "I said as I picked a plastic chair from the corner and headed out. .
From the side of my eyes I knew Jasmin was looking at me but I couldn't look back..
I slammed the door behind me, sat down and continued to play my music..
I checked my phone and saw the last message she sent me on WhatsApp an hour ago where she told me she'd be going for vigil..
The third time she had told me that this month, I always told her to pray for me..
I chuckled "vigil"I said to my self as I gnashed my teeth trying to look for anger but it wasn't coming.
Many feelings were at the door of my heart trying to push in, I was at the door trying to let them in but the door wouldn't just open..
The next song came bringing me from my thoughts...No one by Alicia keys..
Lightning flashed and a thunder followed but although I was back to reality, I couldn't hear a sound save the song...
I knew something in me had gone wrong
