"Eugene!!! "Vickky called out to him almost jumping from my back in excitement..
I didn't say a word as i carried her to where Eugene stood at the front of her door..
"Look, if it isn't dad and daughter" Eugene said as i dropped Vickky to her feet..
As soon as her legs touched the ground she rushed to hug him and gave him a deep kiss on the lips.
I stood there smiling, i looked away
"Where are my manners? " Eugene called back my attention.. "Goodevening Dad"
For the first time i wanted to throw up in my mouth at the sound if Eugene calling me dad..
"Xup Bro... " i replied noticing at that point how strangely quiet i had been..
"Cool" he replied and turned to look at Vicky who was hanging around his shoulder.. "I came to spend the night with her" he said and turned back to grin proudly at me...
I smiled "Well, I'd take my leave from here" I said backing away...
"No! "Vickky called out.. "Please stay dad"
"Don't worry babes, I'd meet you guys tomorrow at the pack"i said..
"I'd endeavor she wakes early dad" Eugene promised..
"Orwww" Vicky made as if she was going to cry but i wasn't going to stay..
"Goodnight guys "i blew a kiss with one hand and stopping an oncoming bike with the other..
The bike pulled over and i climbed on it..
"Boys quarter "I told the bike man
He nodded
I climbed on the bike and look back to see only Vicky standing outside, Eugene was already inside calling to Vicky..
I could feel the excitement in his voice..
Only a fool wouldn't know why he was happy...
But Vicky just stood there, almost disappointed at my decision to leave..
I shrugged hoping she'd understand why i couldn't stay..
She blew me s kiss and waved at me as the bike drove off..
I kept looking at her as i left watching her go inside her Lodge calmly..
Immediately my chest began to smite me hard..
Okay, i wasn't planning to spend the night at her place tho but what was Eugene doing there?
I began to feel a kind of anger growing in me..
Wait.., was i Jealous?
