"That really does explain every damn thing"  I felt something rising with the tone of my voice "I was wondering, the over happiness I saw in your eyes, the kiss? " I said removing my hand from hers
"No dad I swear it's not" she tried to take my hand back but I refused and she put hers in between my arm and my body..
"As for the happiness, maybe, "she continued " but for the kiss, no it is totally different.. "
I looked away from her.. "What was the reason for the kiss? "
She gently removed her hand and looked away from me.. "I.. I wanted you to be my first.."
"Why... Why me?  Am Your school dad " I asked..
"I just wanted it to be you first.. "She stood up and made as if she was walking to her room..
"So you won't tell me he asked you out? " I guessed
She stopped in her tracks and turned back.. "How did you know dad? "She asked in shock
"Because am dad right? " I said
"But hold your horses, I've not said yes tho" she said laughing..
"Wow!, "I exclaimed coldly "why? "
"I dunno dad, I wanted to ask you if I should "she said with puppy eyes
"Oh comeon, it's what you want right? " I said..
"Yeah... But, won't you be angry if I get into a relationship with another guy? " she asked..
I felt like saying yes yes yes I'd be angry!!! But my mouth wouldn't..
"Sure no, "I faked an okay laugh..
But why was I feeling this way? Jealous? I began to drift
"Dad? "She called me back to consciousness..
"Ahh..! Am feeling dizzy" I tried to cover up..
She smiled.. "Would you come inside and sleep? "She asked "I promise not to do anything stupid"
I sighed and stood up to follow her when she went straight for her dairy, my eyes widened, she picked it up and led the way into her bedroom..,
She put the book on her reading desk, and went to get me something from her wardrobe, all the while, my eyes were on the little haunting book..
"Here"she said handing me a blanket and a teddy bear
I bursted out laughing, "seriously? "I asked..
"He's my favourite "she said
