I jumped from the bed in fright, ran to the door and pulled it aside and rushed outside to see what the scream was all about and who it was but instead I saw people running towards a particular direction,
I rushed closer to and asked one of them but he was too scared to answer, as he approached me, it seemed as if everything began to move in slow motion and I saw fear in his eyes, his face tattooed with tears and his slippers were in his hands.
Immediately he ran past me without answering.
I looked at where everyone was running from and the area looked cool, I looked towards where they were running to and it was the route to our school hospital..
I didn't know when my legs began to move,i joined the crowed.. It was a stampede but I managed to get my self to the hospital with all my piece together.
The hospital was crowded, everyone trying to push their way in..
Did someone die? I asked my self..Just then I heard Edwards voice calling my name..
"Edward!!! " I shouted in response although I couldn't see him in the crowd.
Just then someone touched my hand from behind, I turned sharply and saw Edward and Jasmine both looking like they had seen a ghost.
"Wetin dey sup? " I asked..
He opened his mouth but his voice wasn't audible but I read(red) his lips and caught him say something like Vicky.
Immediately I pushed through the crowd like a lion released into the wild..
I stepped on people while making my way to the entrance of the hospital but I didn't mind..
I got to the front and it was blocked with nurses and hospital attendants trying to prevent anyone from entering in, I slowed down.. My eyes caught the blood stains on their clothes...
The sight of blood has always been my greatest fear but this one was worse, I had never seen blood this much.
As I was about to look elsewhere,my eyes caught something else in one of the nurses hands,
I turned to look at it, no.. I shook my head,
No, I wasn't seeing what I was seeing..
It was my glasses!!!!!
