..I rose my head up from the book, looked around and continued reading
'Dad is like the mum I wish I had because he listens to me about anything I have to say from sensible to insensible things. I know they say daughters are more closer to their dads but ours was not just because of what they said, dad really cared more than mum did and when ever I was shunned by mum, he was always there to listen... So Cherry, apart from all the times he also gave me all the good things I ever wanted and always walked me to my class, ask me to always eat dinner with him from his plate, he didn't even criticize or yell when i told him about my first crush.. That reminds me.. I had a crush in my ss2 second term.. He was a new student and he just joined us.. He was tall, had a dimple and was very neatly dressed and was good in maths like hell, he always sat at the back of the class, rarely spoke and when he did, he'd sound like an Angel! All the girls were over the hills for him'
I rose my brows in jealousy and continued reading ..
'But you know what Cherry? I told mum first and she almost killed me with yelling.. Then I told dad and like always dad didn't let me down, he told me to be friendly with him and if he was interested in me I should invite him to dinner!! I went to meet him to ask a very useless question about what the date was just to start a conversation.. He was gazing at his text book when I approached him and I was like, excuse me, sorry what's today's date.. He rose his head up looked and me and stabbed me with the sexiest smile I had ever seen and told me and even extended for an handshake which I accepted and left my hands in his for close to two minutes!! He then chuckled and said his name was Peter...
I couldn't help blushing. I told him my name too and immediately invited him for dinner without wasting any time.. My ovaries were already burning for him.. '
Just then my phone buzzed, I looked at it, it was a reminder, I sighed and closed the book..
